Looks nice But it's my first x11 coin. Is there somewhere a short instruction how I can mine this and which settings I have to use? I'm mining with r9 280x, how much hashrate is normal? Create a .bat file with this inside. setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 del *.bin Color 0A sgminer -k darkcoin -I 13 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8193 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500
Then create sgminer.conf with the pool information { "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://xxxxxxxxxxxx", "user" : "username.1", "pass" : "x" }, { "url" : "stratum+tcp://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx", "user" : "username.1", "pass" : "x" } ] }
The are many more options for sgminer that you can research. These settings get me 2.2mh/s on my r9 280x which is what people say is the top amount you can achieve so I am happy with these settings.

You can refer to our guide into setting up X11. http://suchpool.pw/docs/gettinstartedX11.pdfAll miners are welcome on http://badger.suchpool.pw ! We are aware of some brief interruptions this morning, this has been worked out. I've never had any problems on these guy's pools if anyones looking for a pool

Do you need to do anything for the POS ?
Or will they just join your wallet ?
Kind regards,

for pos just leave your wallet unlocked when age is right and you find a block some coins should move to stake until confirmed / orphaned

The --kernel parameter is depricated. The latest sgminer uses --algorithm instead of --kernel to set the coin configuration parameter. Try --algorithm darkcoin instead of --kernel darkcoin.

Yeh, would be good.. We're currently running the new wallet on testnet, we currently plan to release the new one tomorrow. Coin age will not be changed, so you will still get all of the coins you would have up until now as long as you do not move them. Its getting late here now, so the current plan is to run the new wallet over night to be 100% sure all is good. Thank you, added to OP

Will be dreaming code and coins. yes, thanks for the update. is it staking on testnet?
Yes, It's staking already on the testnet, but so did the old wallet, but this time we have more information. We're going to leave it running overnight, and read back through the logs and make sure everything is expected before pushing any updates.
