WALLET UPDATE INFORMATION

We have updated the wallet code, but it will change the specs a little from original, min stake will now be 5 days (to allow time for the update) rather than 12 hours, and we now have a POS coin window in expert mode (change in settings), there is also a weight icon at the bottom, showing your coin weight vs the network coin weight.

The reason for this change is because we partially forked from code that wasn't quite correct even thought we fully tested it both on testnet and live net, and they made a huge mistake in their code, we have now fixed and updated all that code and added extra.

We will first update the nodes and send the code to the pools, Then new wallets will be available to download later today.

We will also send an update alert to all old wallets, so they know to upgrade.

just read this update. can you explain why you chose to revise it up from 12h to 5 days as it seems to be quite a large change in terms of a multiple from the original figure? i kinda liked the short staking period in the original coin.

agreed - part of the reason why I"m mining this coin is/was the 12hour stake and to change it to 5 days AFTER the fact isn't good

Like I said, we'll try and find a way to keep the 12 hour stake also.  Will update in a few hours either way.

Guys, need help. My wallet (downloaded from badgercoin website) is taking too long to sync. half an hour and only 3 of 5309 blocks downloaded -- 0.06% done. I only show 5 active connections to badgercoin network. How can I make this execute faster? I'm too much a noob to know the answer outright, but not that much a noob to avoid asking for help =) thanks in advance!

Please make sure to contact them, both on here/there sites if you can and irc.

Both have got the sites back up straight away in the past and all payouts sent (as far as we have been told)

Edit: suchpool site is working for me

I'm on suchpool and received 3coins/hours/R9290

Is it correct (on average) or does people on other pool received much more coins per hour per card?

how much is your hash power?
it is directly depends to your hash rate
with 10mh you can earn about 700 coins per 24 hours (with current difficulty)
so, i think you can calculate it by you power

They have had some downtime today for maintenance, but as far as I know it has now been fixed.  nobody has said otherwise.

I don't get coins from Suchpool already about 4 hours. Suchpool guys, you have to CONFIRM that I didn't loose coins due to your backend problems!
