As you as you keep Nxt in you wallet while snapshot took place, you will get Ignis.

Ignis (IGNIS) is the first child chain of the new Ardor blockchain platform which will become operational at 12:00 AM UTC, on 1/1/2018.
So It won't be tradable before that time.

I bought nxt on 12/29/2017 can I get an ignis at 1.1.2018?

The Ardor Genesis Snapshot was planned for Dec 28th, 2017, at block height 1636363. If you have got nxt before that snapshot you will get Ignis.

ok so i brought on poloniex but the site has been so buggy for me not able to send to my bitrex to get my airdrop.  

Looks like i lost 60-70% of all my cryto value.   Not a nice felling.  

Poloniex will probably take 30 weeks  to respond, then they will simply take my airdrop, then say sorry, but tough shit.

Yeah up to 5 dollar at least within one or 2 month i guess fucking whale play game very well  for example byteball  fork  will be going to happen after 56 days but they whales byteball pump 280 dollar to 850 dollar in just a hour and in nxt everything went  over my head i mean price was falling start 2 days  back and in fork time price went upto 1.20 dollar to 0.45 cent that is just ridiculous  but i think project is gud specially what they have doing with ardor with new technique they will transfer not only crypto but also fiat euro Austraila  dollar with their new project so think this is very new and they are creating also new platform of nxt  so yeah  this project will also increase besides every lunatic coin this year increase like ripple is he really worth 100 billion dollar if he cross 5 dollar he will be no.1 in coin market cap.

IGNIS and ARDR coins will be allocated to user accounts in the Ardor genesis block. Their distribution will be based on a one-time snapshot conducted over the Nxt blockchain (the "Ardor Genesis Snapshot"), to be performed shortly before the Ardor launch, as follows:

The Ardor Genesis Snapshot is planned for Dec 28th, 2017, at block height 1636363. The Ardor production software release will be done shortly after the snapshot, with the blockchain scheduled to start exactly on Jan 1, 2018, 00:00:00 UTC.

ARDR distribution

The ARDR coin distribution will be 100% based on ARDR asset balances (asset id: 12422608354438203866) from the Nxt blockchain, in 1:1 ratio, with each user account automatically receiving the same number of ARDR coins on the Ardor platform as the number of ARDR tokens they have at the time of the snapshot. As a reminder, ARDR tokens on the Nxt blockchain were allocated to NXT holders based on their average NXT balances during a three month period in 2016. ARDR tokens have been freely tradeable ever since. No new ARDR coins will be created.

I've installed new ardor wallet and it proposed me to choose the coin.
So, if I choose ardor I'm able to access only ardor. The question is why I'm not able to access nxt, bitswift from the same wallet...
