Yes, thank you!
Since I posted this officially in the other thread, I'll post it here too, then I'll leave it be, sorry if ya think its spam, but I wanted to include the +1 part here too...
Community, I received public response from tf2honeybadger, said if there was a ''significant push for a change, he will talk to Foundation about implementing it.''
What I have PM'ed him about is PoS. Do you guys want 28 days as it is now, or 12 hours like we were told at the beginning?
faster stake times are better all around imo. People will leave wallets open, faster confirms, more nodes, more stake power against 51%. Same amount of coins issued per block, we'd get paid less per stake but more frequently and accurately. Let the dev's know before they release the wallet!!!
show your support! +1 is all it takes.
EDIT: This affects the price of our coin by attracting popularity, because people like to watch their stacks grow right before their eyes!
+1

1. What is the point of keeping this coin alive?
2. Why do people choose to continue to 'invest' in something with so much craziness behind it? Does that not go against most logic?
3. Would I be wrong in thinking that a lot of the push to keep this going is so that people with a lot of WC have a chance to get their $$ back with a slight price increase?
4. What makes this coin any different or better than more stable coins like bc/ac/flt/cinni?
5. Am I showing my ignorance in crypto/markets or am I just retarded?
I hold both BC and WC and was able to sell of some of my WC that was on the exchange. From an investor stand point, here's how I see thing. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feel this way. 1. I held about 200k WC. May seem like alot but it's nothing like some of the guys here. Guys that invested A LOT of BTCs in it. These are the guys that wants to keep the coin alive so they can cut even or make some money pumping the coin to the poor, unsuspected day traders that do not follow what's going on with this coin. 2. Pump and dump. Pure market manipulation. Like i said above, not all WC investors read this thread or follow what's going on with this coin. Take a step back and think about it, if you have so much riding on it, would you run around scream fire and cause a panic so the coin will never recover? 3. Great mind think alike. I'm with you on this one. I just want for the damn wallet to be up again so I can unload the rest of my shares, probably lose some money, learn my lesson and move on. 4. All of these dramas. lol 5. Not retarded. But it will be an expensive lesson for you, and me and so many other people. You are correct about a lot of BTC invested in the coin; however, what good what it do to just let the coin die? No one benefits from it at all. No one forced anyone to invest into this coin. We all knew the risks. At least with the coin being fixed, we will still have a functioning coin that we can use for whatever purpose we want. Knowing that major stakeholders in the coin are working together to fix WC, and are doing what they can to see the price to rise to a decent level, why would you sell your shares off?

Hi!! excellent news! have you been mandated to do those? Or are you invested with WC? Android Wallet and Online Wallet has been mandated. Maybe if the community gets together we can setup a community run whitecoin exchange system? Or we can do some services like a marketplace if the community gets behind it.

What gets me is the fact that some people may actually believe these trolls/FUDsters.
When something happens in my life, I always take those next critical thinking steps and ponder, 'why are they doing this, what is their motivation.' Usually that comes down to 'follow the money.'
So what motivation do trolls have to come here and post negativity about this coin? Surely anyone so negative about Whitecoin would have already sold their position, or never mined it in the first place. So they'd have essentially washed their hands and been glad they got their money. They wouldn't be wasting their time here bashing a coin they have no stake in any more. But let's say maybe the reason they are here is because they can't trade their coins on a market because all wallets are frozen on those markets. But that doesn't make sense either why they would be bashing the coin, because if they still had a stake in WC, they would be trying to create positive energy to pump the coin's value up.
So if both these situations fail to explain the logic behind these trolls, what other logical case could be applied to the trolling situation? Well, lets follow the money. If they don't have any stake in WC, their trolling must be a direct result of an ulterior motive that is not primarily known to most. Quite possibly they have stakes in other coins that may or may not have a direct monetary shift due to the popularity of another competing coin. This sounds like the most logical situation, does it not? Another possible situation is that people are trying to drive the price down even further in order to buy up cheap white coins before it gets pumped again.
I implore people in this world to think through the motivations of people a little further than what it seems to be on the surface. Don't get pulled in to the trolling.
My motivation is two fold. I like being a positive energy in the crypto community. Because of this, I have stakes in both black and white coins. There is no reason both cannot co-exist. So can we stop the trolling on both sides please? Is it not positive for either coin.
Thanks,
binary

I don't think it's one specific community, the BlackCoin community is very nice. It's generally people who want to invest at extremely low prices scaring people.

It doesn't need to be blackcoin only though. And it doesn't really need to be a community. I've seen some generally nasty people out there that will stop at nothing just to get people to sell one coin, and buy in to another. One stop to any trollbox and you'll see this in action within about 15 minutes.

Not trolling or trying be a dick but I have a few serious questions because the past few days has been absurdly confusing. And for the record I had enough WC to care a lot about the situation yesterday, and I panic sold...well because I am new to crypto and WC was the first 'new' coin I got into.
Ty and take care everyone!
Great questions... Yes, a lot of people are pushing to for a chance to make money. How is that different than any other coin, or investing in Apple, or starting your own business? This coin had a crisis, and it looks like it might survive... I think the crisis was for the best because rooted out a lot of bad apples and now we have a team that is in it not only for the money, but for the community, which can go hand in hand. For the record, I panic sold too... I woke up yesterday and saw that people (who didn't go to sleep) were still working on saving the coin, and were making progress. I bought back in...I'm a little in the black...and I'm really optimistic that there is a lot of growth here.

Bah, i'm still awake... so i'll answer. 3. possibly, but coins don't usually die except ridiculous ones like CAGE. There are more but... good luck LoL... a WC fan calling CAGE ridiculous. Couldn't make this up! On a scale from 1 to 10, where would you put WC? No offense, but I would put it at 11. Good luck in trying to get it back up and running though! PS: just fyi I did not intend to cause offense... just a good laugh!

I'm guessing the for sure answer to that is "when its ready, it's ready" nobody can say it's going to be 45 minutes atm.
