I contacted Chris on Twitter to assist with WhiteCoin. Me and my team have been getting flyingthundergod.org up and running to educate non-tech consumers and merchants on how to use Bitcoin. It's still in flux now, but we have the educational site to achieve this and other tactics like hosting a "how to use Bitcoin" at a Brooklyn bar this Thursday 5/1. We'll be hosting more events soon. We're going to help out the WhiteCoin community by leveraging our network of agency style developers (non coin developers) and film maker in NYC. What we will do is TBD. After a few more days, my team can evaluate how we can best utilize our resources for the community. We've been aiming to help the crypto community in general, and it looks like WhiteCoin may receive more of our attention. In the end, we want crypto to work, and for people to easily understand and interact with it. And those people aren't on these boards... they're people like my mother in law, or the NYC food cart vendors looking to get a leg up any way possible. You can see more of us at www.cutrush.comMore of me at: https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=50102494

Sorry about the lack of updates so far today from me, I'm finally starting to get caught up on my sleep from this weekend's insanity. We're working hard behind the scenes now and have invited well known community members as observers.
In summary:
1. Yes Chunkypools is under attack but we are mitigating the problem.
2. The wallet update team is working furiously to release the best update possible, I'm awaiting another update from them but we are working our absolute hardest to have an update today.
Thanks so much for your patience everyone, once we have the wallet ready The WhiteCoin Foundation Project can truly begin in earnest.

UPDATE REGARDING BLOCKCHAIN PRESERVATION
We must spread out the hash from ChunkyPools as it is a single point of failure on the network. We have setup a P2P pool to distrubute network hash.
To preserve the WhiteCoin Blockchain please point your miners to:

Hey guys! Mywl.lt is proud to be offering you guys the chance to have Whitecoin added to your community.
What is Mywl.lt?
Mywl.lt has been the official, secure online wallet for Digitalcoin, Argentum, and Securecoin for the past 6 months. 0 security issues and 100% up-time have made us stand out from the crowd.
Other web wallets offer similar services, but don't be fooled into depositing your coins to a site that can't be trusted!
We require 2 Factor Authentication for all logins, and email confirmation to create an account. This means that you can still remain anonymous, but have a wonderfully secure online wallet where you can have access to your coins from anywhere you have internet!
You can see our security explanation here: Mywl.lt/security
Want to send coins to a friend? With Mywl.lt you can send funds to any other user using just their account name!
Each users account gets 5 votes every 12 hours, and guests can vote once every 12 hours. Alternatively you can buy votes by donating at a rate of 0.0002 BTC per vote.
So come on over to Mywl.lt/voting and vote for Whitecoin today! Less than 3 days till the first coin is chosen!

What a mess..
We will recover from this. It's always darkest before the dawn. you seem to be all talk.. so how about that fixed wallet? A wallet fix has been proposed and been in testing since yesterday, we have been transparent about the process. Our choices are: 1. Push out wallet immediately without testing. 2. Test wallet & prove to the community the whitecoin transition team thinks before acting. The absolute worst thing that could happen to whitecoin right now would be to unreasonably rush this process. We've got an incredible team trying to do about a week of work in 36 hours, they have my full support and I encourage you to give it to them as well.

We will recover from this. It's always darkest before the dawn. you seem to be all talk.. so how about that fixed wallet? I'm impressed with the response. In the IRC, alot of dialog back and forth regarding the blockchain, as well as the new wallet. I have full confidence in the new wallet. What I Don't have confidence in is the price over the next 24 hrs, going to be too turbulant. *** Impressed with the community resposne, not the fact that he just said what he did. He's doing ok too

I very rarely post here... but I just had to comment on what is happening with WC. The DDOS The bogus news The personal attacks The outright hilarious lies Just remember... 1) The community is everything. 2) http://img.ctrlv.in/img/14/04/28/535e9dd92d4ac.jpg

you guys just say "what a mess", yes maybe a mess now, but we're cleaning the dust This has been the most interesting launch... the test for the community. Afer this, it will always be "If we can get through that kind of launch, then we can get through [current problem]"

Just stating the obvious, things are a mess but it seems like there is a team behind it working their ass off. All of this seems very fishy to me, though. Almost planned.

Haha, I've wondered the same thing. If so, hats off. If not, what a cool thing to happen. Rather than fail, people rallied, and succeeded who may have never met in real life.

Even when I'm in favor of something I get called a fudder or what not, due to my brutally honest approach and realist attitude. But I will say this about WC, and dare I sound like I'm actually emotionally vested in a crypto, am actually quite impressed with how this is going. There's been a literal shitstorm and people are genuinely handling it well. This should serve as a reality check to a sect of BC community that blatantly hates on whitecoin. Blackcoin is touted by all of it's community as being extremely resilient and now whitecoin is showing that same resiliency, you can't clone that shit. This should just solidify that the same silent majority that make BC strong are also vested in WC(as I'm sure in many other coins based off what I've seen in the irc). Cut the bullshit infighting it just makes the vocal minority look like assholes.

You obviously know absolutely zero about development. As in you have never ever done it and have no experience with it whatsoever in any way shape or form.
