i cannot get anything except for PPC and BTC to update blocks. The rest say Block number -1. Help??

IRC server domain irc.lfnet.org not resolved

Substitute irc.lfnet.org to 92.243.23.21 in the file coin-chains.xml.

Or add following line to the c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts :
Code:
92.243.23.21 irc.lfnet.org

Ufasoft Coin every time gives unhandled exception error when closing Coin main window while downloading and synchronizing chains. I don't know is this caused by bug in program or weak hardware (Pentium4 2.8GHz 512RAM) that takes too long to close client because it trashes like mad due to 512 MB RAM.

It is a bug.
Long time closing because slow Sqlite transaction commit.
The next version will use another fast Database engine.

For now I recommend to use the program with only single enabled currency.

The error on closing the Coin are not fixed. But I have no better computer to test if the problem still persists with more computer resources.

Question - appears that the addresses for each cryptocurrency are generated from shared keypair. I generate and label address for Litecoin, new address appears for all other currencies with the same label. Is it feature or bug?

This bug will be fixed only with new DB engine, instead of current SQLite.

Yes, it is feature. There are no reason to generate separate keys for each currency. They just use different constant during base-58 encoding to get currency-specific first address character.

Coin 0.50

When starting up alert http://bitcoin.org/dos appears under Events tab and then quickly disappears.

P.S. Still synching to network. Must be 2 weeks doing this 24/7? I wonder how long it would take on my E8600 based computer...

Please make sourcecode packages available with binary release. Digitally signing (GPG and/or x509) the releases also would be great.

Source code published after checking compatibility with GCC. Usually 1 time per month.
I agree that some form of signature should be used

I accidentally sent 0.10 Novacoins to Bitcoin address. 173bFMk3XUryGa3jKKhPLsBuLpHw3oy7LF was converted to 4KkR8E8MCvZyp3ARWgMwDsNCNrMUnSjGfj and the tx 6e9513fc5e060b0c595fb2b93f01430e9569da3e8d27d6834ba4e92975eb7fd8 got trough. Satoshiroulette.com probably have the private key to these lost 0.10 NVC but it is Bitcoin key.

P.S. according to logs I won that dice roll Cheesy but no coins arrived. It's too fuckd up.

It seems this is a bug. Address type was not checked.

In your case these Novacoins can be accessed only if SatoshiDice will accept NVC and will use same private keys for NVC.

Satoshiroulette.com accepts novacoins, my transaction appeared in log and was shown as win with prize paid out. The prize never arrived in my wallet.

So you know:
1. Outgoing transaction hash
2. Incoming Prize transaction hash

But you don't the money in the wallet?

Sent us these data to investigate.

I don't get any NMC and Testnet2 peers... anyone has an IP I could insert into the sqliteDB to bootstrap? Or should I just wait and hope?
