I have downloaded the newest Mac wallet and resynced a few times, as the chain would stall regularly, and given the advice here it seemed best to delete and resync. This eventually was successful, at least to get the whole chain downloaded, or so it appeared.

Currently (out of sync) at block # 34778, and my wallet appears to be missing many coins from the balance.

Current balance shows 103.42435 DIEM, but according to transactions should be 6015.5994.

Small change, sure, but I'm testing, not investing. Any guidance? I'll be patient until dev returns.

use the command: repairwallet in the debug window

This was perfect.

14:05:09

repairwallet

14:05:27

{
"mismatched spent coins" : 20,
"amount affected by repair" : 5912.17505000
}

And the wallet is working. I imagine this may have been self created through file corruption, unrelated crashes or lightning storms taking out my power.

Carpe diem!

New to the diem community thanks to winning ~100k on poloniex.

Got me interested enough to download wallet and start staking the coins I won.

Then read some of your posts. If you are looking to rehab a coin right now I would like to throw silk coin in the ring. Fully re-branded, new dev team, lots of people holding coins and funding development.

P.S. website needs some work.

it happened a week ago, so i can't tell now if it resolves or not,
maybe it will start staking on its own

They should reach maturity after 7 days. Maybe the repair command made them non mature coins. Did u loose any coins though?

I know the network is running slow right now. I've spoken with polo to see if they will stake coins in their wallet for us to help improve the network speed. We are also testing a new wallet currently that will decrease the age limit and increase the network speed.

Just stay strong Wink the coin is trading well today on polo and I've been spreading coins to ppl to help with the speed. This is going to be resolved I promise u guys that.

network is not running slow on average, but jumping,
need more responsive difficulty mechanism,
polo wallet won't help much in that matter, maybe longer jumps

Trust me we get that. Polo is just a small fix to help move us along. The new wallet is in testing right now. 21 billion test coins have been staking nicely the last 24 hrs , No spikes in diff or anything just chugging along nicely. We just want to fully test it before we release it.

   I can already announce that I finished the first stage of the design and at present 3 different Carpediem gadgets are being made. They are being done for special order, and some handmade. Expect to be seeing them in the second week of the September. I will be busy a little bit longer,
since we have a Holidays coming up for me. I am working still above on a few projects I hope that something good will result from it and you will like it.

I thank for the interest and pleasing words in relation to Carpediem ballpoint pens.

Mine is doing the same thing.  Its normal for it to get stuck 3-4 times when syncing from block 0 but those last few blocks are ding problematic.

Might have a fix coming

Nope sorry haven't wrote html or done a website since high-school or first year of college. Decided then that coding wasn't my thing and switched to Electrical engineering. But the Silk coin website is pretty nice and maybe if you were interested in a rehab of that coin maybe they could lend some website support. Anyway I'll stop talking up silk here unless you want me too.

Wallet finished syncing and moved coins from polo to wallet smoothly. My first opinion is it all seems to work well so good job. Ill keep wallet staking maybe win some more polo giveaways.

See how much LTC your DIEM is worth:
http://www.carpediemexplorer.com/convert.php

I'm not sure if people realize how cheap they are selling DIEM on the XMR market.  So we had a conversion tool made to try and help.
