According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

A solar company incorporated!
Really? is that ture?

a few pages back there was a communication from the dev team.
Maybe it is in the OP.

ok, guys. Here is some good news for energycoin project.

I got a reply from a solar company from Japan (http://www.sunpulse.net/), and their CEO is interested in our project. This company backs for another crypto-currency called solarcoin (SLR). Both of coins have similar ideas to encourage people to use clean energy. SO, they thought that ENRG and SLR might fit for each other.

Now, we need some ideas to incorporate with their company and their coin (SLR). If you had any ideas, msg me or just quote this post. I will keep following this topic in the next few days.

Moreover, no worry about the price. Some dumped their coins as I expected. You will see the potential of this coin after we are doing something real. And, I want to recruit some members into my team. Message me if you were interested.

I've just deleted 42 GB file.
Here is so of the error that a reported CheckStakeKernelHash - hashProofOfStake too much

It must be something wrong with POS

I Agree, I had a 1.2GB log-file this morning. I stopt the wallet now 24/7 untill this is fixed!
I also have a need for news about other developments and the creation of an ideas forum.
Is there a commutity manager for Energycoin, I think we need one.

It only happens during POS. It is some problem with the amount of the stake.

One thing I'm still wondering there are hundreds of accounts and only dozen of people are voting. Are those real account holders?

Well, you can bet it's a mix Smiley

For example:
I only have one mintpal account, so the very best I'm gonna get is probably around 27~30 votes;
s1ng seems to have at least 4 different accounts, sometimes he votes will all four, other times with only two of them;
AltCoin4Me always votes like crazy anywhere he can, not just in mintpal, but he's not following the rules ... I'm guessing he really doesn't care, but he clearly should be getting a lot more for his efforts
others vote and don't seem to care or take notice of the weekend rules, so they explain the vote number rising, but they're not in the race
and some other votes simply appear, without anyone taking credit for them.

For that last category ... and i don't like raising this issue ... it's always possible someone is taking credit for another vote and get away with it, because the actual voter doesn't care or claim it.
Anyway, even though it's totally unfair if that's taking place, you shouldn't give to much importance; after all, the main objective and the reason behind the giveaway is getting accomplished real steady Grin

I don't even now if there's any way you can change the rules to make it more controlled, given that there's no way to verify mintpal's account identity Wink

But it's your ENRG getting given away out there, so you're entitled to be concerned and change the rules anyway you want Smiley

I don't care who is the winner really important thing is to stimulate voting. I stop claiming votes but I monitor If someone is trying to claim them.
That's why best way of giveaway is Target vote like whoever vote is numbered 3500 or so.

If just keep my coins and don't support the project the wealth won't exist anyway.
