Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Bter literally stole my deposit. It's been said before and it needs to be said again. Just don't even risk it with BTER. They are absolute trash and scum. They steal fucking DEPOSITS.

P.S. Good news everyone. A few pushers on other forums who have it against BTER are considering to push legal action shortly depending on ongoing conversations with the exchange. If anyone wants in post it here while we wait for other news.

Alcurex is great and they sorted out a few problems for me when they didn't need to. I hope it grows into a bigger operation. The only way that's gonna happen is if money is put where mouths are.
