It might not be the worst to have a compareably small community at first.

I'm sure there are a lot of questions that need to be answered once the beta starts.
Also, when the Beta starts, new people will come and some will want to get in cheap in a still early stage (as long as we can prove the code is good and clean)

Will there be auctioning of anymore stakes?  Or is the final final chance to get a stake pre-launch?

I've read few last pages and it looks like devs only need 3.5 BTC to launch the coin. If all auction bids are real they already have at least twice of that amount, so no more IPO and no more auctioning.

Re-Added Announcement

Your voices have been heard! So we are performing a Crowd-fund in an auction style!

If you are interested, you can sumbit your bid in this google form: http://goo.gl/KcuOq1

100 stake Auction!

We divided 100 stakes in 6 different groups, with a total of 27 lots:

Group 1 = 10 Lots by 1 stake!
Group 2 = 5 Lots by 2 stakes!
Group 3 = 5 Lots by 3 stakes!
Group 4 = 3 Lots by 5 stakes!
Group 5 = 2 Lots by 10 stakes!
Group 6 = 2 Lots by 15 stakes!

On June 9, we will select the highest bidders! The winners will get  a confirmation pm with the wallet number! You will have 1 day to reply with the transaction ID! If you won't claim your prize within 24h, we will contact the second person with the highest bid. We will highlight the highest daily bids on BTT! So you could easily track the outcome. All the bids will be automatically recorded in to a spreadsheet.

Everyone will be able to view the detailed results here: http://goo.gl/jaLPlh

Highlighted with red you will find the highest bid!

Rules:
1) Every New/Existing user can participate.
2) You can bid an unlimited amount of times.
3) You can bid for all 6 types of lots (for example i can bid 0.05 for the first lot, and 0.20 for the second, if i win i will get a total of 3 stakes).
4) If you bid several times in the same group, and at the end of the auction your bids will be the highest, you will win the lots according to your bids. Exp. You bided 10 times for lot # 1, each bid was >0.05! If your bids are the highest, you will win all 10 available lots.
5) The bids submitted in one category will not sum up! EXAMPLE: Group 1 = 10 Lots by 1 stake! if you bid once 0.1 your bid will be counted for one lot, meaning at the end you will get only 1 stake! If you wish to get 3 stakes (3 lots in this particular category) you will have to bid 3 times 0.1!
6) If you wish to DELETE/INCREASE/Decrease a stake PM me the Row Number from the spreadsheet with the Desired action. Exp:

- #14 (6/1/2014 12:53:44   s11made   Lot # 2 - 2 stakes   0.14) Decrease bid to 0.13!

Let The Highest Bidder win!
If you have any proposals/complains/questions, don't  hesitate to discuss them!

This auction will help us raise the necessary amount of btc. to finish the coin. Thank you for participating.

Hi all, I'm happy to announce that I've completed the first revision of the new Node web site:

http://hypersire.atwebpages.com/

Please have a look and we can discuss any edits / additions. I think we should add some more bullet points for some of the team members for example (everyone's should end with a funny one like Skillroad's "Loves puppies")  Smiley

Please note that I just put it up on one of those free web hosts so it can be a bit slow-loading / jerky - that won't be a problem once the site is moved to the real web server that Skillroad and Koop were already using.

While reading the "how it works"

What exactly is a server in your system going to do?

Does the whole system have a blockchain?

Is this really a network of clients building consensus?

It reads a bit like you're using a centralized system instead of a decentralized.

Does the whole system have a blockchain?

Blockchain: http://5.9.123.114:19775/transaction/showAllTransactions  (without design)

Block: http://5.9.123.114:19775/block/showAllBlocks   (without design)

If not blockchain system would not work

Now, thats nice. One point for NODE.

The question about servers still remains though, is this in any way centralized?

That's a good catch Secondleo, I will have to edit that text (it was present in the original informational NXTL graphic).

I do not believe anything is "centralized", just like with NXT. I believe the "server" in this case is like NXT's NRS (the site which runs and allows you to login and connect to the network). These are run locally, so you are not trusting a traditional centralized server. I'll wait for clarification from the devs and then rewrite that text.

Hi all, I'm happy to announce that I've completed the first revision of the new Node web site:

I still like the original logo way better. I don't know who made it, but the guy has skills. Instead of the one who made current logo.

But the website looks great. The only thing I'd change is stop icons animation after the first time it played. No need to loop them.

The logo looks very similar to that of ripple.
Kinda sad, after all it looks rather unique.... if it were not for ripple.

It reads a bit like you're using a centralized system instead of a decentralized.

1. Now the server is running the client Node, we test it and fix bugs

2. Blockchain: http://5.9.123.114:19775/transaction/showAllTransactions
Block: http://5.9.123.114:19775/block/showAllBlocks

3. Really a network

4. Decentralized. We are currently testing the transmission of data between servers (P2P).

Like, this is our first site which is made very well. Thank hypersire.

I want to say that everyone who helps the community "Node", will be compensation from the fund "Promotion"

i am an inverstor, when and how can i get my stake?

Tomorrow we start the test transaction, each investor will receive an account number on the coin for the test. After the test, we'll let the release date of the client
