I prefer mixing. It is a method that can be explained to someone who doesn't know anything about computers and that person can even speculate for themselves what the odds are for the transaction to be eavesdropped in full. In other words, given 10 mixers are used one after the other for each transaction, and given that 50% of the mixers are not honest, the chance is still less than 0.1% for the transaction to be recorded fully (0.5 to the power of 10 = 0.0009765625). It's a rock solid method that is not based on asymmetric cryptography, which is vulnerable in the long term from mathematical advancements. |
