Can't wait for the WC in Qatar.
You might be waiting a long time for that. If the World Cup is held there, expect a long of protests and drama If they don't change that I really hope the Dutch refuse to take part. (and of course I hope others will follow that example). Thats literally what I think would happen. There is a real danger to the players in that type of climate. The heat can lead to health problems. Its a biggest problem for European teams I am also sure its going to change but still need too much time for this all and its all depend on Corrupt members of Fifa

Besides the fraud and bribes, besides the heat in Qatar. Blatter promised it would be held in June/July like always, but now it's being moved to winter on the northern hemisphere,. this completely disrupts European club team competitions. European club team football is a few orders of magnitude more important than a silly WC. I hope the entire UEFA (lead by Platini) refuses this bs. If the FIFA wants to keep it there, have fun without Europe.

I don't think there is any fun in World Cup without Europe because its not possible to do this but in December most of European countries on Winter vacations so they can do these vacations for some more days and Wold Cup can happen in Qatar without any problem

Talking about Europe, I've heard this is the first time a European country wins in America. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, this is true. Until now only Europeans teams win World cups in Europe and South American teams in America. Only Brazil could break this tradition in 1958 in Sweden and now Germany in Brazil.

For once my prediction worked perfectly. Backed Germany from the start, should have put money on them. Wonder what the odds were before the tournament, could have tripled my money at least.

Then Saudi Arabia or Iran would make a lot more sense because those actually qualify for a world cup once in a while.
I would have supported Iran for the world cup as well but the USA is still blockading the heck out of them not letting them use the SWIFT network and making it extremely difficult to participate in the financial system lol. Saudis would be ok I think though since they still take all that oil, not that sports should be influenced by the Whims of some countries but the US would probably mess with FIFA somehow mumble. Still bloody hot though ^_^

I'd rather not play.

Assuming they can even get a team that qualifies for a round in the World Cup They have been recently but its more luck than anything else.

I am not sure whether they will be able to qualify the next time. Some of the second tier CONCACAF teams are rapidly improving, such as Haiti, Jamaica, Honduras, Panama and Canada. Qualification won't be that easy for the US next time. (Anyway they will probably boycott the 2018 FIFA World Cup, as it is taking place in Russia).

Four years is a longtime for US Russian relations Plus a new president for the USA will be around then Putin is kind of eternal till he retires though They kind of variate between tense to calm I first heard - World Cup 2022 is the Qatar. Is that true? Yes it is true here is the FIFA website link if you want to know more about it http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/qatar2022/
