There's a high probability that the late Hal Finney was Satoshi Nakamoto or part of the group of bitcoin creators. Craig Wright who claims to be Satoshi is definitely a fraud. By the way, Dorian Nakamoto was Hal's neighbour.

When we transact bitcoin it is anonymous like the one who was created on it. Satoshi Nakamoto who is known as the one who created bitcoin is also anonymous. Until now that bitcoin continue to gain it's popularity and become more valuable, the creator of bitcoin is still anonymous. We don't know if it is a single person or a group of people behind the bitcoin success. It is still a mystery.

Oh Satoshi Nakamoto may be one person or a group of people of whom some or all may be dead for all we know, but the way its kept secret successfully would indicate that either they are all dead, or it is a very determined single person or a very well organized (and determined) organization (read: government agency).

I think so far it is not clear to us who it is , many news and evidence refer to a certain person, and then we find news and other evidence refer to another person , and so on.

So, possible scenarios:
1. Satoshi is a group of people. Subscenario 1: Founded by some powerful entity, to create an experiment or destroy banking system. Or make drug trafficking easier. 2. Satoshi is dead. He didn't really knew that bitcoin might have such success, he died before seeing it growing so much and that's all. Subcenario 1: Satoshi was killed because of Bitcoin. 3. Satoshi is affraid of Bitcoin and how it turned up. 4. Satoshi is a person that has no life other than programming (21.000.000% nerd) and he creates things under different identities. Maybe was behind Napster too. 5. Satoshi is ET or AI or GOD or S8TN
Lol, what's scary is that all of these could pretty much be exactly what's happening haha. Especially that subscenario 1

Every month or two I get the itch to continue on my elusive quest to search for Satoshi. As we all know, your words are your fingerprint, and anything can be traced back to someone or any group of people that originally wrote it. Knowing this, I wanted to use some of my own stylometry to figure out the puzzle, or at least muddy the waters. We have all heard the story of the phrase “computationally impractical to reverse", and the patent application which uses the same phrase: Feb 18, 2010—… the outputs of which are fixed-size strings that are computationally impractical to reverse-map." Now, I don't have a supercomputer or anything of that matter, and wanted to do some good hard down-home brute-force style work with the original whitepaper, dated Oct 31, 2008. Before I get to that let me be clear that this is just my musing around looking for clues to the man himself, and am no way giving any facts. This is just an experiment in circumstantial evidence. Smiley example 1: https://i.imgur.com/Hv1RO0G.pngThe phrasing of "leave or rejoin the network at will", both used on October 31st 2008. Now, was Satoshi reading up on P2P articles and used this phrase for his abstract the day of publishing? Could be. This phrase has only been used on or after the whitepapers release, from what I could find on the internet. I did more digging on this article leading down a rabbit hole to whitepaper references, etc. But I won't get into that. example 2: https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-540-85230-8_25An Efficient Anonymous Credential System Taken from Financial Cryptography and Data Security 12th International Conference, FC 2008, Cozumel, Mexico, January 28-31, 2008. Revised Selected Papers I'll let you look at the link and see if any of the names jump out at you. Another title from the paper at this conference includes Improvement of Efficiency in (Unconditional) Anonymous Transferable E-Cash These two examples show that the hunt for Nakamoto will never end and armchair Bitcoin enthusiasts like me will always be on the lookout, even though the NSA probably already know who he is. I do not wonder who I am. But I'm curious how many Bitcoins you have. I think he might have sold his whole thing without knowing the value of his hand and committed suicide right now. I hope not.

If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.
Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot... Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?
How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?
No one knows.Bitcoin is the first (and currently most valuable ) cryptocurrency in the world. There some who believe that Satoshi is a nickname for a group of developers rather than a (single founder )has remained one of the great mysteries of the crypto Era.
