If you PM me I'll set it for you, we're being DDoS'd. Only the dashboard is down, the pool works and we're hashing away.

Wish I got in on this earlier, this coin will probably be huge. It already has about 10x more activity on Bittrex than Cinnicoin did at this stage. If all it does is equal Cinnicoin in popularity, will hit 500 Satoshi. It seems to be way more popular so far though and has a lot more hash rate.

The announcement was made at 19:03:00 UTC (UNIX time 1399230180). The first 12 blocks totalled 1.5 million coins, which is 0.5% of the total 300 million coins, so that is the advertised premine. But actually, the first 56 blocks have timestamps earlier than the announcement time (example: block 56 has timestamp 1399230110, i.e. more than one minute before announcement). And if you assume it takes people a minute or two to download wallets, setup miners, get synced up etc, that is approximately 60 blocks pre-mined. As the first 50 blocks have extra high rewards, the premine calculations would be: - 56 blocks is 6.85 million, i.e. 2.3% premine - 60 blocks is 7.25 million, i.e. 2.4% premine Before I use bold red letters and the 'S' word, can someone please check I'm not missing something stupid?

You are correct. Just gotta deal with it man. People dont work for free. Why dont you go create a coin with no premine and then devote your time and effort for free after youve given the community something it wants.

Premines aren't necessarily bad. But devs claiming a 0.5% premine when it is at least 2.3% premine indicates a scam.

Of course this is how it is obviously the first 50 blocks gave fucking huge rewards so they could instamine another ~2% ontop of the 0.5% premine. Looks better with 0.5% premine rather than 2.5% premine, don't you think? ~2.5% premine is a good number for P&D coins Coins like this is what is wrong with this community, and for some reason people mine this shit anyway.. Gonna be fun to see bagholders crying in a few weeks when they've lost all their bitcoins, fucking idiots.

I'm personally not really sweating it if the creator started mining at the exact second of release or 60 seconds beforehand. Probably 90% of coins are like that.
As long as it has no dashibefuq virus, then I'm happy with this one.
People renting tons of megahash will dwarf that amount anyway, and the coin is being mined fully in a week, so lots of people who go megahash crazy will have the same amount or more.

It wasn't 60 seconds beforehand, it was 20 minutes (not including the 12 blocks advertised premine, which were mined a while earlier). And considering they hit the ground running, make it 30 minutes. Don't say something is 0.5% premine if it is more than 2.3% premine. If the dev lied about the premine, what else is he lying about?

I assume you mined a few blocks, so I can understand that you support the coin and want it to do well.

to bad price dropping like a brick Price typically goes up 200-300% after it leaves Bittrex and goes to Poloniex/Mintpal. Whoever is sweating over small details right now is just going to miss out on trading action because pre-poloniex buys are a day traders dream. I looked at my screen and saw Cinnicoin selling for 1700 Satoshi on there when it launched. The block time of 15 seconds was complete garbage and up it goes to 10,000 Satoshi after it hits poloniex and Mintpal. This Shibe coin is a lot better so I'm currently not worrying about any bullshit and just in straight trader mode.
