I repost my warning here:
I have a little warning for the people who use any coin that implementing Zerocoin Smiley

Zerocoin's technology require generation of "initial parameter", you can think about it as a "master key". This master key need to be deleted right after it was used and nobody should know about it. Technically, whole security of the currency depend on this "master key". Anyone who gained access to it would have ability to control double spend (i.e. he can create infinite amount of coin, another kind of premine).

The creation and destruction of this initial parameter need to be performed in a trusted way to make sure that nobody can know it, include the developer.

So, if you guy believe that dev is honest, you can use the coin. If you don't trust him, stay away from that.

That's my warning, i'm not trying to spread FUD, but this is some technical information people should know about Zerocoin Smiley

Beside that, people in Summercoin thread believe that developer of both coin is same person:

you are very right.the same dev!
both wallet have the word "黑币"! which means blackcoin in english.

There's not such masterkey in the Libzerocoin v0.1alpha implementation done on libertycoin. I kindly invite you to review it yourself:

If you don't even know C please stop spreading FUD

What ? you're also developer ?

That master key of course don't exist on source code, because it's just initial parameter. But how can we know that dev doesn't keep it in another place ?

And don't claim that Libertycoin don't have such "master key". It's nature of Zerocoin technology, how the hell you can adopt Zerocoin without using it.

It was said on Zerocoin github source:
https://github.com/Zerocoin/libzerocoin/wiki/Generating-Zerocoin-parameters

Quote
Security Warning: It is critical that the modulus N be generated properly and that the factors p, q and all related information be destroyed. These factors are not needed in the protocol. Moreover, any party who learns these factors will be able to double-spend zerocoins. Note however that knowledge of p, q does not jeopardize the anonymity of Zerocoin.

To all thecryptopool.com miners:

There's an issue with payouts due to the pool having made some double payouts, however, the reason we're here is not to scam anyone and I will not let that happen.
Our contingency plan is as follows:
* Pool is still functioning in regards of obtaining and paying out blocks, the wallet really needs to balance itself before it can actually start to payout again.
* Bonus blocks have been temporarily disabled until everything returns to normal
* I personally will fund the pool with my own mined coins to speed this up and make everything get back to normal.

Don't panic, we're not here to Gox you or anything nor am I a liar, we're a new pool and it's never easy when you're starting but we're doing everything possible to make this work and it will work. Just don't panic, give it time, in a few hours everything should get back to normal.

Ok, I have to speak up now. Kind words. With respect to his Dreamcoin pool, the pool operator gave me coins for my time hashing away at his pool, coz it failed early on, and my account disappeared. But I saw him asking miners to send PM for coins, so I did. The coins he sent me were more than I expected, for which I am grateful.

With respect to Liberty coin pool, I got my first payout from this pool 2 hrs after launch. It's too bad I switched pools. Coz we all know what happened with 24hash. Now I'm also awaiting my dream coins from cryptopool.

Hope u can get the thing sorted out soon, man. Break a leg! Smiley
