Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So if they are adding alias address, is this similar or the same as Sync's Encrypted address or something completely different?  Is that the only feature of the "Anon" they are adding or just one of them?  Thanks

Anybody from the community or dev team able to answer this?

We won't be discussing about anonymity implementation publicly anymore, at least not until it's ready, for it has been used by pump and dumpers to manipulate the markets distorting our words since this coin was launched.

Hey Libertycoin, Thanks for at least taking the time to respond to my question.  I'm not trying to spread FUD, only gauge my investments. If you look at my post history I am genuinely interested in all POS coins currently working on Anonymous features, And currently hold a basket of them including Liberty!

If you truly believe that only pump and dumpers are using misinformation to manipulate the markets then you might want to consult the team, as post #3914 in this thread from your Official promoter states:

Quote
Libertycoin will give consumers the freedom to make transactions anonymously, and put control back in the consumer hands! The entire purpose of crypo is to give control back to the people, and Libertycoin will be the first POS coin with anonymous features to do that!

Coming from your official promoter that Libertycoin will be the first when Sync has already implemented one feature that sounds similar and goes POS tomorrow and XC has stated they will release their wallets with anonymous features tomorrow (Although they don't go POS for another 80days) some clarification would have been nice to reassure me of my investments.

Anyways thanks for taking the time to at least hear me out and keep up the good work!

Let me start off by saying the page with the smiley faces was awesome.  It was refreshing, actually.

So as I stated yesterday, someone/some people are driving the price down and it makes no sense to me if this is driven by XLB members.  Why would anyone want to dump when coin and community are taking shape?  The sell walls are strategically placed (smaller increments totalling 8-12 sells) to drive it down once buys push it up to the 5K/6K SAT, I know because I tested it yesterday afternoon and as I kept buying, an unleash of sells would follow, fluctuations are 500 SAT.  Systematic and malicious to me so it's dolphins shaking weak holders or members from another community/coin deliberately doing this.  And if it's inexperienced miners who want a quick buck, then I say get a little more experience and that will pass and so will downtrend.

So here's my general message to those malicious speculators-I'm not worried as I'm currently spread (and generously) across assorted ALTS that are very active but I've taken an oath, in principal, to allocate my efforts and resources to XLB and BC, for now.  If the culprits/affiliates who are behind this come to light and they are within a specific community, I will direct my resources to dump, due to heinous actions of a rotten few, methodically and damagingly as I will not be inclined to such behavior.  If it's a member, I will resort to troll tactics and smear the crap out of you, until you don't want to log back in to BitcoinTalk, and I'm persistent.

Remember, if you want to play ball in XLB, you'll have to pay more each and every time you play.  Maybe not now, but soon.

No assumptions or no saber-rattling, just throwing it out there for the children.

I hear you.  This is not just a problem with XLB, but one I am seeing more and more with all of the "younger" coins.  To me, it looks like selling bots because the sells are placed like 10% below each other - which only makes sense if you are trying to drive the price down.

Asceric-Glad to see you here.

Very true and I saw it, I purposely bought XLB for 1 hour yesterday and every time the price went up, boom, a slew of lower sells would pop up.  I'm also thinking it could be Mint bots and I've already generated a ticket to ask them, it would make sense because lower prices creates more trades.  Thus, more trade fees-> money at the register, payday.  It's too systemic, too thought out to be some innocent members/traders/investors.

I can get over it if this is driven by greed, greed to a certain degree is good but if it's a vendetta, then it becomes my vendetta as well.

2 main things tend to drive the success of a cryptocurrency

1)  Technology / Innovation:  Why is this coin better than the other coins

2)  Community:  How effective they are at promoting the coin and communicating benefits of the Technology / Innovation

+1000 excellent!!! I'm pretty good at reading between lines and did my dumping already.  If you wanna make money children start acting like adults and your welcome here. I'm right behind you on trolling if we find out something.  These kids have no honor or ethics.

Can someone work, cohesively with the DEV, to initially program XLB to be merchant-friendly, whether it be scanning, swiping, or USB'ing?  If XLB becomes accepted, this is a huge first step to widespread use.  Or even if we utilize a 3rd party like PayPal or Coinbase to be used via a phone app, showing balance, used, paid, etc?
