I have been minting for days now but still no stake coins. My coins are at least 4 days old.
Are those stake coins the same as pos coins?

wallet.dat was backed up, that is the whole point of the question.

Your coins might be staking?

The wallet would show coins being staked. I have a few staked rewards (small amounts) that are not yet recognized, perhaps affecting the greater coin balance. Best to leave the wallet open, perhaps it "corrects" itself.

Yes I just spoke with them, they are rebuilding the wallet to ensure they are on the correct chain

How do I know if I am on the correct chain?

you can compare you block height w/ the block explorer to make sure but I don't believe that the fork exists anymore (at least I haven't seen it sending out requests to the network)
