Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

>> Update <<

BoostCoin is now listed on C-Cex!

I know many of you still have coins trapped in Cryptsy's control, but now being listed on C-Cex gives everyone the opportunity to trade outside of China.
Happy trading Smiley

My Boost in another blockchain. Them can somehow return ??

You will need to re-sync on the correct chain, then -rescan the wallet, you might be able to recover some of the missing coins, but not guaranteed

Steps needed to resync:

1) Close your wallet
2) locate your application support folders (In these locations)

Windows:
Code:
C:\Users\<<user name>>\AppData\Roaming\BoostCoin

Mac:
Code:
/Users/<<user name>>/Library/Application Support/BoostCoin

Linux:
Code:
/home/<<user name>>/.BoostCoin

3) Make a backup of the wallet.dat file, store it somewhere safe
4) delete all the other files except wallet.dat and keep any BoostCoin.conf files you may have created
5) Start the wallet and wait for it to re-sync, this can take a very long time, and it's recommended to use the bootstrap.dat file to help speed this process up.

BootStrap.dat:
https://mega.nz/#!JRIQGSqL!O8cS-uTUp8oQj32f7VZm-NMKEQQSzsJzXIuY5qUFq_Q

Once you are in sync, compare your results with the block explorer as that is correct to all the nodes.

It looks like the transaction made in 2016 would be on the old invalid chain that Cryptsy were on, so if you have the latest wallet in sycn on the correct block-chain then all the coins you own should be there

All your transactions seem to be up to date.

Unfortunately they are not there ..

I think the only way to recover those coins is if Cryptsy update and re-sync with the new wallet. Ive sent support requests, i've also tried contacting Vern directly in many ways asking them to update, but no joy....

> Update from Poloniex <

Poloniex have updated their BOST wallets and confirmed they are on the correct chain. At the moment they are not re-listing BoostCoin for exchange, but this does mean you can withdraw any balances you may have stuck on there from a while ago.

Thanks
M

C-CEX.com exchange news!
We have to free up server resources for new coins by delisting some coins which have consistently low trading volume.
The following coins will be removed on 30.11.2016 if their average trading volume for the last month has not exceeded 0.2 BTC/day (6 BTC for last 30 days):
BoostCoin [BOST]

This is old news, the trading volumes passed the requirements a while back, still listed on C-Cex and trading fine Smiley

Hi,
Dont worry about the delisting, i will ensure it is kept trading on C-Cex & BTC38
Yes more future plans are coming involving IBM & Hyperledger. Its taking a while to get focused on the new technolgy as IBM using Hyperledger fabric are quite new technologies.
