You are correct, but as the source is already listed on the Marucoin thread so then its not exactly fair anyway. The majority of users wont be using a Linux based GPU based miner that they have to compile on their own, so i dont think it will hit the coin must at launch.

Someone would have found it on the Marucoin thread anyway.
