Hello,

I am trying to mine with my old C2D 6600 on suprnova, just to add to my hashrate, but the daemon keeps failing me. I have added these programs as exception to my antivirus, so it shouldn't be making any probs from  that point. What CPU miner should I use(win 7 x64), and how should I set it up for nova pool?

Also, any updated on mining x13 with an nvidia card? thanx in advance!

I have tried these settings as described in the pool help: "minerd -a -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://boost.suprnova.cc:3311 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword" with correct name/pass ofc.

I have also tried just setting "minerd -a x13 -o stratum+tcp://boost.suprnova.cc:3311 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword" with no luck again.


One of them executes and immediately shuts off the daemon, the other sends back an "error connecting to stratum, restarting in 30 sec"

I can try shutting the AV off, even though I have set it at exceptions.... is there something else im missing?

With both methods you will not need any wallet or daemon running. ive tried and confirmed minerd -a x13 -o stratum+tcp://boost.suprnova.cc:3311 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword" works without any issues

So I had entered incorrectly my username login etc... I succesfully started the program in 2nd pc, but still cannot get it to work in my C2D setup, minerd starts, detects new block and just shuts down. I guess I will re-check my bat :/

ok! partial solution found. Nvidia will run with sph-sgminer ... large Nvidia optimization are truncated (OPENCL instead of native) but it stlll beats CPU mining... happy camper coin is as a person said here "innovative" could be that all X11 coin will gradually convert to X13 to fortify...

case of mining software falling behind coin development.. not the first time this happened

sgminer kernel I am using against boost is marucoin , it seems to be fully compatible...

also above is VERY taxing on the system, all CPU cores are hijacked in the process... need to send a query to cudaminer/ccminer dev , also it is better for the coin value distribution and such if its tapped by people using NVIDIA cards, right now they are steering away from Boost...

I'm pulling about 1.8 MH/s on average, but then again - you might have a slightly different model. Post your .bat & config files and I'll let you know.

Are you 100% sure you have your miner software is set for X13? sometimes these symptoms show if the miner is set for the wrong Algo
