I bet Vericoin will be delisted form poloniex because volume is vanishing and community is very unactive.
So I think holding VRC is suicid

VeriCoin 1.7 wallet is nearing completion, with fixes to wallets stats, connection issues. The next update will include PoST 2.0 which will prevent the recent fork issues due to large coin age/staking wallets. VeriCoin 2.0 will be upgrading core code to the latest Bitcoin Core code. Verium will also get the updated Bitcoin Core code.
awesome news, I've always just grabbed the list of nodes from the blockexplorer and always get 20+ connections. I'll keep my eye's open for the update  as long as people don't chase the price up during a climb then VRC has always been a solid buy for me... like any good project "BTFD" (Buy the F*cking Dips) or even if it's running flat, you only burn yourself when you chase a coins price above their averages. Junbi people know what sleeping giant Vericoin is, truely it always has been. Vrc is like the decred in its bear cycle. Be patient and you win. Jubi people can go to Poloniex and buy tons of cheap VRC. Then go to Jubi and sell it, then go to Poloniex and buy more. Why don't they do that? There is some information that VRC wallet is disabled on Jubi and looks like some people just manipulate the price there. |

I must say this is one of the few legit and worthy projects in cryptosphere. People working on this really came up with a new and fairly innovative product. Let's see how it evolves after The Big Fork. Now it is such a great opportunity to buy ... Everything is on sale !

this coin looks to have some major potential imo wallet issues seemed fixed...very slow with 20 connections though for a new wallet sync. |

this coin looks to have some major potential imo wallet issues seemed fixed...very slow with 20 connections though for a new wallet sync. You can speed up the sync by going to: File -> Reload Blockchain, after that completes go to: File -> Rescan Wallet |

I have a vericoin paper wallet that somebody gave me about three years ago. I want to import it to a wallet where I can see the coin and send it. I prefer not to install the desktop wallet because I'm not a computer whiz and I don't have endless hours at my disposal to struggle through the learning curve. I already extracted the wallet to my desktop, which runs galliumos, poked around and decided to look for an easier way.
There's supposed to be an Android wallet but I searched the Play Store and couldn't find anything.
If there is an Android wallet I'd appreciate a direct link to the Play Store or an APK or whatever. And can you import private keys to the Android wallet?

If you have a look at the chart, this coin is often pumped and then rather quickly dumped. |

I know that both the mobile apps are in the works, for both ios and android. Currently to date, they are not released. |
