Hm i have 1 question, POW is suppose to be 7200 blocks right ? And the block reward is 0.14 coins. So POW = 7200x0.14=1008 coins ?
Isnt the max coin supply 1000 coins with POS included ?

There are 0 block rewards too.

If I remember correctly, the 1000 coins max is the POW max or soft max. The hard max is set to 10,000 in the code. If I wasnt on my phone I'd find the link someone posted last night to the line in the code.

Please not, at 1% POS yearly, it'll take a very long time to hit that cap.

Max coins are 10k but only 1000 are for PoW rest are for PoS generation.

yes about 1000 years at 1% pos

As proof of how bored I am at work and the ease at calculating compound interest in open Office, if every single SYNC coin was dumped into wallets and left to POS, we would hit max 10,000 SYNC about half way into year 231.

So roughly 18/12/2345

End of year 231 = 9959.4955934066 SYNC
End of year 232 = 10059.0905493407 SYNC

uber nerd alert
lol just kidding.
what is open office?

Open source software like Microsoft Word. Works just as well but is 100% free.

And not nerd, just really baked Cheesy

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I just have to say F***!!!!  I have been watching this shit all night and I have seen drops in the network hashrate frmo 80,000 KH/s to 50,000/KH/s, then up 24000.
And wham it spiked just now to 106 GH/s.  Where the hell is this large shit coming from?  Destroys the distribution of the coin unless you are going to dump....

Anyone have an idea  for creating a coing that ONLY solo miners can dig?

i think you will most likely find that a big chunk of that hashpower IS solo miners.

Every x11 coin is getting flashmined.

There are many exploits out there. Anything is possible.

The copy n pastas are making a mockery of cryptos.

hmmm..  who else likes to create unsubstantiated wealth ?

I hear you there.  Could be , but that is a lot of hash for a solo miner or two or three.  Over 33% of the Net hash.  I should say any one create a coin that only a common single to quad GPU max for mining so it is actually fairly distributable?  NONE of these are coins are truly disclosed.

in all honesty, having a 5 day PoW stage is always going be a factor in this. Not sure what the hype is all about with only 1% PoS per annum, it's not as though the stake is going to make your hoardings worth keeping. I'd reckon the dev should alter the PoS %age to something a bit more substantial and shorten the PoS stage to just a few years... make it worthwhile to hold the coin, rather than dump it.

a limit hash coin would be the best, but it is problematic to implement such thing

Now that scrypt ASIC is truly here its a fair bet we are seeing a lot of GPU miners moving over to X11.  I would also guess a lot of the hash is multipools which would explain the erratic spikes.

Just sit tight, mine/buy and watch this coin rocket.

Try mining the coin then you'll know. Smiley I can assure you that the price is going to rise more once the PoW period ends.
