Does martingale really works?

Each person treat martingale differently. Some people tend to use it for a longer time thats why he/she can lose all of his/her money with this system. And other people use it to gain small profit only, like 50% from his balance and stopped. Basically all systems will fail if we use it continuously.

I think martingale or not if you play and if you are not lucky it will not work any more but if you are lucky and make good profit  it means martingale works for you ... just always relay in your luck and skills both of them are good..

I think many people are still using martingale methods since its a common and sometimes you can make a good profit with that methods people are greedy thats why they are just losing a lot instead of making profit they are not satisfied what they have..

I will say no to martingale as this really doesn't work. It is just waste of money as there is no specified number of getting loosing streaks and you can loose big amount of money. I have used martingale and got loss all the time in the end. Dice is to play by luck without using any strategy.

I think its depends how lucky you are if you are greedy yeah it won't work. martingale is an old strategy that uses many times by many gamblers it is working if you can be satisfied what you had if not you can not make any good profit or win any amount.. i saw many people are doing martingale in prime dice with video before and i think manually doing it will work but if you choose bot to use martingale it can drain your wallet fast instead of making a good profit.

Martingale works actually. But in a very stripped-down version.
It could work, if we had an unlimited amount of money. Then any losses would have it wins to compensate as well as opposite. So it would be eternally jumping from one extreme to the other and in a result it would be complete zero. And zero isn't nothing, it means total equality of extremes (on the middle between absolute loss and absolute win).
But in real life we have only limited amount of money. So any jumps between extremes will be finished in a result with one of the two extremes. The goal of gambler is to end with win, not loss or 'zero'. However, that understanding of martingale is perverted, as actually it should ideally always give the same amount of money as at the start. Hence, it works, but to 'zero', which is neither win nor loss.

when you used martingale, it's not luck anymore that you are looking for, you need to count the probability of the game and if you do your count carefully no matter what kind of strategy or your setting you will find out there is always is a losing chance, that is why you are losing all the times

Martingale have nothing to do with emotions. It is all about your wallet resources - if you have not enough sooner or later you will have to lose..

LOL. how do play wise if you didn't use strategy in the gambling? Martingle is just a constant strategy but there is a lot of strategy that have no name. So if you are playing wise, i think it is consider as a strategy. I think it works in some cases if we look at the whole scene. What we do mistake is we keep ourselves in center and make analysis of anything around our experience. Actually there are many players playing same time and many using same kind of famous methods like martingale. Why we loose fact isn't that martingale doesn't work actually there is no fix pattern for every player separately and script work for all active players. That is reason someone keeps winning streaks and other loosing. All is correct in fact at large.

As far as I'm familiar with the martingale system in general, it could potentially work if the following conditions are met simultaneously:

• The house edge is not very high
• You have a significantly greater amount of funds than the house
• There is no limit on the max amount you can bet

Since you are almost always less liquid than the house, and still more so if you start losing (gambled away money goes directly to the house bankroll), while the house owners are not fools themselves to allow limitless bets for real (they may claim otherwise, though), the martingale system is apparently a losing game in the long run.

With an infinite bankroll martingale becomes a winning strategy provided there is no limit in maximum bet amount, which I specifically mentioned. Consequently, a bigger bankroll will help you last longer than a smaller one since with a bigger bankroll you will be able to survive longer losing streaks. Should I have also added that the starting bet amount was meant to be the same?

I totally agree with this, and This Martingale will not work for anyone, and I tried many times with small bankroll but I end with a loss, and I don't have dare to play with a big bankroll. Because if I lose small amount I can afford it, but if I lose big amount I can not afford, and This Martingale is the risky method I don't like to take a risk with my money.

This has already been discussed several times in this forum. Martingale cannot work on roulette in online casinos because it's independent every play from each other so it may very well be 100 times in a row RED. We know in real casinos with the law of probabilities and if the casino is not cheating it cannot fall 100 consecutive times RED color.

Problem with offline casinos is they know this and they have took measures about such things so they have put max bet limits making this strategy not to work even if you have really large bankroll this limit avoids this strategy.

The only way Martingale can work is if you follow a tipster which places bets of odds minimum 2 and you know that tipster doesn't lose for example 5 times or 7 times in a row. You can double every time your bet until you win. Just pick a sports book which has no max bet limits and accepts bets up to 100 BTC. For sure this is the only way martingale to work, no other ways exist.
