Does martingale really works?

When I first thought about that idea that wow when we loose we double and when we loose we keep same I felt that this strategy would make me a millioner but when I actually tried it yes it worked well and gave me some profits but eventually all the money along with profits was lost.

It will actually make us millionaire, let's say a person has a bankroll of $99999999999999999999 or it will take care all the doubles that will be lose but the gambling site itself won't make it happen since there is a betting limit to take care of that martingale type of betting.

So in those dice or slots game, never used martingale as it is not effective especially in a long run.

I also will do agree with you martingale can stop working any time when someone start thinking it's very profitable, even on slots and dice game too because it's really hard to get recover even with unlimited bankroll too, gambling sites have some limit for maximum profit and we will lost our money there.

Martingale is not appropriate when it used to dice and slots as house will kill you.

Much better if we use it on sports betting because it's proven to be effective than doing martingale in those slots and dice games.

Yeah i experience that martingale its not working in other activity but in sports betting its more chance to make a good profit in martingale in sports betting because its more chance to hit win than lose..

I would say martingale doesn't work for long session playing. You are going to be victim of your own strategy sooner or later as long as you are in game. There is only way of escape is make withdraw little or much doesn't matter. You need really few loosing streaks to reach the level where did you start from.

The only way martingale works is take the small bankroll and get merged with the bigger one, we gamblers take a small bankroll and start gambling and the sites have much big bankroll, hence our small bankroll is merged with the bigger one ( the site's bankroll ). Yes, martingale works in favor of gambling house always. There was no successful usage of it for me personally.

That is certainly true if you have an infinite bankroll and the gambling site that you're playing in doesn't have a maximum bet amount. I think nobody has an infinite bankroll and all gambling sites have a maximum bet amount to avoid getting bankrupt by those big bettors. In reality, nobody actually has made money out of martingale. Maybe those who have stopped when they were still in profit. But if you continue to run it, eventually your bankroll cannot keep up with the bet amount.

Nope not for me but i think everyone has a technique on how they get the perfect bet and settings for this one for me sometimes i get 16 straight lose in the game and actually fail in the end i don't think so that this will recommended to use by anyone you will lose lots of money for sure.

What martingale does is to create "very high win chance" bets.

With a strategy of base amount 0.001, 2x on loss, total budget 1.024 (busted in 10 consecutive losses), what you are really betting is 99.89% (=1-0.505^10) win chance bets.

So, you are just hoping you will never see a rare event happens (10 consecutive losses in this case).

IMHO, Martingale doesn't work ever as a strategy if followed, but it will only make you lose double of what you have already lost before.
So, don't follow this strategy unless you are so sure of winning the next bet you will be making.

I had good experience hardly couple of times when it worked for me. After that it never went the way again. After having horrible sessions few times I stopped believing in so called strategies. Martingale or any other way which is claimed as strategy is not working. Martingale works for house surely but not for player.

Such usage of martingale is rather dull, when with each roll you can win only the base bet. A hypothetically more "profitable" strategy consists in increasing the bet amount after a loss in such a way that you not only cover your previous losses combined in the last losing streak but also earn as much. Indeed, it means as well that your bankroll may get wiped away faster. Would it be proper to call such a strategy double-martingale (or double-fail)?

Bold statement is impossible to happen. If a person will be so sure of the bet result, he will be rich already. Sure thing is that no one will ever know what the result will be. Gamblers are just hoping for the best of it. However, for me, your first statement is indeed possible to happen. If luck is not on your side during bet, you can lose all your capital. Of course, with martingale you'll always double the bet, and it's not good to lose consistently.

Thinking having a  big bankroll  would  not  bust on using  martingale is  such a bad  idea because  this thing would really break  your hopes and expectations and as you said  no matter how small your base bet you would surely suffer super  long  lossing  streaks that would surely sip out  your balance.

I think, martiangle it is one strategy gambling profitable .. we can get a lot of victory of this strategy. but you must be careful because it could have this strategy failed in the game you because also very risky

I think we should make a goal of 10% income daily with our money and then it can be profitable, once we reach a specified goal we must cash out the money and then repeat the strategy next day, still I think if we have 1 bad day in a week we will still be in loss. But in gambling, profits and losses will occur alternatively, no strategy will guarantee for only profits.
