What did you expect? Does a single image seem like proper market analysis to you? No but when you see a combination of a train picture, a rocket picture, a moon picture, and a bear picture, it is a confirmed sell signal. |

the tl;dr: sometimes it makes sense to look at price on a linear chart, sometimes on a log chart. the "broader" the view (e.g. the entire history of bitcoin trading), the more likely it is that the log view is more informative.

The downtrend movement can't be longer or with similar size than the previous uptrend movement ("the mast") to be a "flag" or "pennant" or we have to conclude that the uptrend movement is finish or we are going to a double bottom. Well, the flag is suppose to be a continuation pattern Now, all down trends eventually end. In your case, might be only a dead cat bounce or not (that isn't my point). |
