Thanks Goattrading.

You've been very helpful.

Can you send a private message with any leads you might have on quality open source escrow projects that might not be in this list?

You might say that you only want to see Wampumcoin flourish, but I think that it's important to give a reward for efforts to grow Wampumcoin, so please include a wampumcoin address and a bounty request.

Also, if anyone has experience with getting or offering bounties I'd be interested in hearing whats typically used to determine an amount to offer as a bounty. Is it something more than an arbitrary amount? Current coin capitalization divided by average market price divided by the price of a ton of gold? Wink

Thanks

Brad

Anybody know why I might be having problems getting my wallet to sync?  Have uninstalled and reinstalled, seemed to download entire blockchain but still displays "out of sync".  Have the following addnodes in my config........

addnode=69.85.86.195
addnode=162.243.212.244

With just the first one as given with wallet, no connection is ever made.....adding the second addnode at least got it connected and downloading blockchain.

Great, this is a good step towards even better community

First post, its on Wampum, your adding to the "to be growing community" and you have my currently favorite exchange sharexcoin.com 's coin sharecoin in your sig. Excellent start.  Wink

Being so new... altcoins need all the community support they can get.

mining currently has a very low diff.

Load up while you can. From my brief communications with Wampumcoin.com ... they are looking to the long term adaptation of wampum through creating multi faceted outlets that will encourage returning usage.

and I see Sharecoin in yours as well  Grin

Probably a silly newb question coming but why would the difficulty raise so quickly?  I went from 1.9 to over 10 in under 10 minutes, earned a bunch of coins the first few minutes then it slowed WAY down!

I'm mining at a very low hashrate and getting good steady results.

On 05/27/2014 for blocks 86304-86323 the screenshot below shows difficulties between 0.0148 and 0.2362:

and my own personal difficulty for my 3 currently running miners is between 4 and 8:

For a short time someone with 10,000+ Mh was mining which caused the sharp jump in Diff

Back to low again... If you watch it, you catch the low diff.

You said:

"What is this ?

Honestly I don't think brad thought the question was specifically directed to him. I know I certainly didn't. And I don't know if I understand it completely. This was a re-post of the launch announcement. And I don't know what happened to the coins you mined some months ago. I would think they would be where ever you left them, unless someone moved them without your knowledge of authorization. ? That's hard to tell since you left no sort of definitive information for researching and helping with this.

Also understand that we only use this bitcointalk post/forum for announcements and periodically come here to check on things, not specifically for user support.
