So this coin is actually the old HongKongCoin with a new name? And I must say a very retarded name. It sound more like hong ghetto coin ..
Thanks for stopping by idiot. Take your ghetto-ass comments and your sig file spam and get lost. Market Cap keeps on rising! http://www.cryptocoinrank.com/HongKetocoin1,800 posts since December. You need 1) a job 2) a girlfriend 3) a hobby 4) all of the above. Dearest Jenny 吉妮, Please have a break to see doctor for your paranoid and hallucination problem. Anger will make your condition worse. 1,800 posts? I guess 1/3 of them were posted by me Cryptobuddy to expose the HKC problems, and 2/3 were those trying to say Cryptobuddy was telling lies! You need 1) a doctor, 2) a boyfriend, 3) a hobby, 4) all of the above. For details of the HKC problems, please visit this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=523292.0-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. HKC has been 2.5% premined. HKC has been minted up to over than 67% (410 million HKC as of now, vs max supply of 600 million). Most of the coins have been centralized in HKC dev (about 2%), majorminers (3%-6.5%) and a few number of persistent miners (as most of miners have already stopped minting and dumped their coins). The whole concept of decentralization has been no longer existing for HKC. A highly centralized PoW coins cannot succeed anymore.

Of course the nodes are working. Place the hongketocoin.conf (from the OP) into the same directory as wallet.dat and re-open and you'll sync up. If you have any other issues, let me know what version of the wallet you have. You can also use https://web.hongketocoin.com as well.

I have been using pooler's minerd (pooler-cpuminer-2.4-win64) to mine HKC on majorminers.com. However, I noticed that I always got this message:
Stratum requested work restart
And I can see no miners available from majorminers web dashboard.
Is there any configuration I need to do?
My current configuration is:
minerd.exe -a sha256d -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://hkc-east.majorminers.com:3362 -u myusername.myminername -p mypassword
is any configuration not correct?

Hi, Try it without the added switches and see what happens. Example: ./minerd.exe --url stratum+tcp://hkc-east.majorminers.com

anyone trading on bittrex? just for your info: bittrex is now following a pattern of announcing and removing under-performing markets twice a week. They'll announce regularly a set of candidates for deletion. yesterday they delisted 10 other low volume coins! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623709.msg6915764according to bittrex a listed coin must have at least 0.1 BTC per day to pay for itself. that means, if the trading volume is lower than 0.1 BTC we might lose the HKC market on bittrex. let's keep the market active!
