In recent posts on their forum BA adamantly denies that they are a scam and that they have never lied.

The February 24th shipping date was clearly a lie and when you take peoples money based on a lie it's called fraud making this a SCAM.

Hi everyone!
I am sick and tired from that BA!!!   Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

26/11/13 I made an order X-1 but when they have stated to postpone the delivery device in May I immediately canceled the order and demanded a refund!

After long declinations me to agree on their wacky proposals that lasted six weeks, finally on April 25th, I was blessed with a news: "Dear Roman, We have removed your order from shipping queue and placed it on refunds queue." (from my ticket [#JTR-408-33380]: refund)

But... still nothing!!!

Already formed about 4 ticket reminded me - as if they had disappeared!!! FU(KING ALIENS Embarrassed

Who knows, how to make a criminal case on these animals?

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. Refunds refused.

4. No shipping date provided.

5. TechnoBit now shipping Minion based miners.

The Minion data sheet wasn't released until the 27th of May, so that's just over 1 month from design to shipping product for TechnoBit.

Update: 4th of July 2014

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. Refunds refused.

4. No shipping date provided.

5. Black Arrow gives the Bitcoin mining world a black eye while generating a fortune in untaxed revenue from their customers ASICs.

They're clearly not planning on shipping until the ASICs cost more in power to run than they generate in BTC. Incompetence of this magnitude is an unreasonable argument at this point as they would be unable to produce an ASIC if that were the case.

Update: 28th of June 2014

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. Refunds refused.

4. No shipping date provided.

5. Over 4 months after the stated product shipping date, design plans for the first X3 prototype are said to be almost complete.

I would ask a refund but i know it's pointless to even ask them

S3 are 3 times cheaper and also more energy efficient, so i'd rather have my money back and buy S3, or just buy bitcoins.

BA is a worthless company, maybe even worse than BFL.

I feel bad for you notbatman. I know what it's like to be scammed by a fraud.

Rest assured the scammers will self-destruct.

maybe, but that won't get us our money back.

Update: 7th of July 2014

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. Refunds refused.

4. In the latest update shipping of Batch 1 & Batch 2 is stated to be complete by the end of the month.

5. Customers remain sceptical yet hopeful that Black Arrow will actually send something based on their woefully inadequate compensation of 50% more hardware.

While they owe us 550% compensation due to the difficulty increase any such promises to deliver that much would be an obvious lie. We'll see how shipping proceeds and how the title of this thread changes based on this. 50% compensation still deserves some sort of warning however, perhaps "WARNING: Black Arrow Shipped".

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. Refunds refused.

4. Shipping is stated to be complete by the end of the month.

5. Black Arrow continues with it's unreasonable delay in delivering product.

6. Promises to match current market prices per Gh/s upon shipping broken.

Customers don't even get what their money would buy from vendors with in hand product? How can they claim they're not a scam company?

What I will say is that people at these agencies have been responsive.  It is also the case that BA left up a link to a Hong Kong consumer group on their self moderated thread and forums for quite a while.  When I posted that Shenzhen link it was deleted PDQ, which makes me think they'd rather not have that floating around.
