@dev: Which are your plans about MAST?

I like the idea, but i would like to see a medium/long term program or plan before investing.

Thanks.

what's special about this coin?
it's new its X11 and PoS like no other coin today.
Actually it is the first X11/PoS of the day  Grin

to all X11 dev: stop releasing a X11/PoS every day. This isn't the way you will become rich  Grin

?
so did you become rich ?

Seriously 2 or 3 new X11 coins everyday, does it looks normal to you ?

people still mine it and trade it...so...why dont give it a try...

Compared to what? Scrypt? I remember when there would be 5+ Scrypt coins released daily. Are you saying there should be more X11 launches?  Tongue
and do you remember any of these coins (5+ coins day) ?
5+ is bad and 3+ is still bad... (why am I trolling trolls now ? Grin)

Cute, the bad troll is calling others troll. If you don't like new coins get out of the altcoin community. Probably just mad he missed out on the launch, don't worry kiddo there is still plenty of time to mine. It feels good when fail trolls come into a thread and try to discredit a coin, lets you know it's doing well.

@dev: Which are your plans about MAST?

I like the idea, but i would like to see a medium/long term program or plan before investing.

Thanks.

Hi minsermafiauk23! We have a lot of plans for this coin, but we are trying not to rush too fast into things and end up shooting ourselves in the foot. Coin devs in the past have run into problems by just jumping on any trend, signing up with the first multipool they see, taking any wallets and offers that come their way, etc. This is risky because often the people doing the coding on those things haven't been vetted, and often they have ulterior motives. Our plan is to take a more slow, structured approach, and make sure that everything we're doing, we do correctly.

So our first launch priority, of course, was the coin code and the network, and we're confident we've delivered there. Mastiff is stable and secure, difficulty retargeting is working perfectly, nodes and connections are increasing, and we've had zero signs of forks from any pools. So we're happy about that.

Now we're moving on to the next steps - first up is a solid block explorer, Mac Wallet, and rich list. We already have trusted devs working on these projects. Of course we are interested in a multipool that pays out in MAST, but we want to take an approach that more emulates BlackCoin than some other recent PoS coins - we want a community driven pool that arises out of real demand, with trusted operators, we're not just going to sign up with the first profit-switching pool we see and hope they deliver. We're also working on outreach initiatives to non-English speaking communities, and we hope to roll out those initiatives in the next couple days. Finally, we are working with other exchanges to help expand Mastiff's reach to buyers.

Rest easy minsermafiauk23, we're standing by MastiffCoin and will continue working on services that will support the growth of the coin and community in the coming weeks!

A quick comment on prices: we had internally estimated a price of 2500-5000 satoshi during the first day of trading, so we're happy with the current numbers, especially the strong volume on BitTrex. What we didn't anticipate was the explosive growth in difficulty - sometimes the exuberance of miners can get ahead of the natural growth of the coin, especially when something as promising as Mastiff comes along. The market is also being influenced by the first round of BonusBlock rewards. In the long term, investors are seeing that Mastiff is a solid coin with a solid community and strong growth potential, and will gravitate toward us as the coin proves itself in the coming days.

As we say everywhere: don't feed the troll  Grin especially when you have no argument at all (and when you don't understand sarcasm)
I didn't even tried to mine this one at all (neither the 3 others, as it makes absolutely no sense as those coins will be totally forgotten in a week)
You mined it, the joke is on you not on me.  Grin
Actually, you are right I shouldn't troll these coins. It is in my interest that many people mine those shitcoins as it makes more interesting coins easier to get. keep up the good fight.
