i'm still puzzled why the price is so low. the only thing that makes sense is that this coin doesn't have an anonymizing service like dark and x11 that seem to be in the spotlight right now. not every coin needs that though. i just find it odd how low the price is compared to how few coins are available. i'm not sure if this coin will catch on, perhaps the spike in volume yesterday was the most volume this coin will ever see? i'm not sure.

Guess that is the question. POS is starting soon and there are "super blocks" incoming so there are still a couple tricks up the coins sleeve in the near future.

I think it needs more exchanges and that is keeping the price down, but that is not really based on any magic crypto pseudo-science.

yeah i dont get it either. like i said a few posts back the only thing i can think of is that the anonymizing coins like drk and xc are getting the spotlight right now. which is fine, but a smooth launch and an active dev and good coin parameters you would think more people would pick this coin up. maybe it just needs to get more exposure by being on mintpal. i bet it would hit 20k no problem then.

@ifightformerkel Because its incredibly undervalued. Look at the total number of coins -- less than 2.7M from PoW. We've been a bit under the radar thus far, but hashrates, volume, and price are all growing steadily.. there are very good things ahead for MastiffCoin! Our own back of the napkin estimates would put us at 0.001-0.002.

We're happy to be listed on Mintpal anytime, as soon as they're ready to have us We've been working on contacting exchanges and getting listed, but it is a slow process. As far as our upcoming announcement, all we can say is that we're working on it. We are all about action, not hype.

Also, just a quick update -- we've been hearing a lot of conspiracy theories and rumors being spread about MastiffCoin today, so just to dispel them all publicly:

- Our team does not contain Carsen from DreamCoin.
- It also doesn't contain "loq" from ShibeCoin/DojeCoin.
- We have nothing to do with anyone from CryptoRush or Fyrstikken.

Don't fall prey to lies spread by people who would like you to sell cheap coins.

Tonight's update on the premine coins: we completed our first Twitter giveaway, for a total of 1000 MAST sent out in 10 MAST increments. We also sent 1250 MAST for a Chinese translation of the ANN post and some promotion on Chinese sites. We sent 500 coins (two transactions of 400 and 100 MAST) to our IRC tip bot and have been giving a few MAST away at a time on IRC to grow our community and presence there. We are having a very consistent healthy hash rate and are well ahead of so many established coins. Miners have been quite interested in the coin. They know well which coins to choose to spend their precious hashes on. A very good sign.
