DvoraKoin uses a set of algorithms in order to allow efficient, easy mining no matter your setup.
If you have an ASIC, a powerful GPU or a CPU, DvoraKoin will suit your needs.
Using three different algorithms, SHA256, SCRYPT and MYR-GROESTL together, DvoraKoin allows anyone to mine.

The groestl algorithm is the single most efficient algorithm for GPUs in the cryptocurrency market.
It has been shown to have the lowest power consumption, heat and noise of recently released algorithms, allowing for a quieter and more effective mining environment. Groestl is set to be the future of mining, DvoraKoin is proud to be one of the first to utilize this new algorithm.

Dvorak Randomising System
DvoraKoin's system of random rewards is different to a typical coin's. In a typical randomised coin, there is no bias towards the lower rewards, and each reward is equally likely.
This new system, the DRS, or Dvorak Randomising System, skews the rewards so that a more valuable reward is less likely. The DRS is a more intuitive system that better resembles the real world.

2.5 Minutes per block, 7.5 per algorithm

Block Rewards
Block Rewards a controlled by the new DRS (Dvorak Randomising System):
- 61.5% chance of the reward being 1
- 20% chance of the reward being 2
-10% chance of the reward being 5
- 5% chance of the reward being 10
- 2.5% chance of the reward being 20
- 1% chance of the reward being 50

Ports
62620 and 62621 are used as RPC and P2P ports respectively

Difficulty Retarget
Difficulty retargeting occurs every block, to the algorithm that finds that block.

Total Blocks
Due to the random nature of DvoraKoin, a total number of blocks have been set, rather than coins.
1,680,000 Blocks will be mined over the course of 4 years.
1% of the total blocks will be premined, for the IPO-Hybrid, pools, exchanges and the general upkeep of the community.

Confirmations
Confirmations for mined blocks are 120, and transactions require 6 confirmations to become valid.

No, each algorithm's difficulty is entirely separate. If all three algorithm's difficulties were at 1, and SHA256 was mined for a day it might be up at 20, while the other two will remain at 1

Yes, your miner setup should run the same on this coin. Sph-Sgminer will work pretty well. The same should apply to pools as well.

A lot of people have SHA-256 miners to use, and although it may not be the chosen algorithm of the mining community it adds to DvoraKoin's attempt to make mining available to everyone. I still personally use Scrypt for a lot of my mining, simply because I know it very well.

Solomining this coin is possible once downloaded, you simply set it up like any other solomining coin, only with the algorithm you have selected. If, for example, you want to run groestl (The most heat efficient algorithm), add algo=groestl to your config file then solomine with sph-sgminer set to -k myriadcoin-groestl

The reccomended intensity rating is between 14-18. The algo setting in the config file is for you to choose wich algorithm to solomine with. This coin is not asic resistant, but allows them to all mine equally.

No point in sending my 1.5mhs GPU's against TH/s rigs.

It is still worth mining, as the asics do not directly compete with gpu based algorithms. The difficulties are different for each algorithm, the scrypt and groestl algorithms will remain on a lower difficulty because ASICs will not be able to mine them.

No, the coin instead retargets every block in a typical manner. I was unable to implement KGW myself. It does, however, have an upper limit to the difficulty rise so multi-pools cannot mine a few blocks and get out, leaving the coin ruined. In any case, the other two algo's will take up the slack.

When you say CPU will be able to help out. What kind of hash rate can you pull from a basic dual core?

Im guessing it wont be worth it with my rig but this is interesting....

This is a setup guide from Groestlcoin. CPUs are better off with Groestl than they would be with scrypt, for example. (30%-40% the power of a GPU)

There are some problems with scrypt algo - difficulty is too low but it is not possible to find blocks. Moreover, blocks are literally raining, more than 1 block/sec are being generated.

This is just the result of some huge miners going at it with a low difficulty. There is a cap on the diffuculty retarget speed so the coin can't be crushed by multipools, but this seems to be a hindrance here.

The three algorithms have no effect on each other, however. I could connect with a 1000 Th/s miner and not change Scrypt and Groestl whatsoever, allowing anyone to mine as if there were three entirely separate coins.

What Algo are you mining? It seems the difficulty with this coin is finding a good pool.

Zpool and the dev pool are finding lots of scrypt blocks now, minep.it is going well with SHA-256 and for groestl the most blocks are being found at p2poolcoin.

You have to remember as well that individually the algorithms have 7.5 minute block times, so there are fast transaction times but makes the coin harder to get

It may make existing coins a little less valuable in the shorter term but maybe changing the reward structure if possible to drive mining back. I do not see an easy solution really but shorten the mining period to make below possible and/or add POS with small percentage of up to 5% per year. Mult-algo is really a great idea but the current reward structure is not working and this coin will die very quickly if it is not addressed soon. Current balance holders would need to be ok with some type of change which could devalue coins a little but some extreme measures are necessary if you intend to save this.

Asiacoin managed to take over a coin and make some major changes to the coin itself. Like the Dev I fail to see any other solutions besides a more radical approach.  I certainly would not do anything to RESTART this as many have an existing vested interest already and that would not be fair. A new block-chain with a coin swap or something should be possible. I believe other coins have done something similar. A fair ratio would have to be figured out.

today i've done about 100dvk with only 6gh/s, now i've 200gh/s and the rate is about 2000dvk/day

unfortunatly bitrex has delisted dvk
poloniex now has frozen dvk (i dont know why)
allcoin has a low volume and is impossible to trade it

my test

2.5mh/s scrypt about 125dvk/day
6gh/s sha256 about 30-40dvk/day (some day over 100dvk)
200gh/s sha256 about 1300dvk/day

sha256 win

pay attention to time, if you stay at 200gh/s more than 6h difficulty increase over 20000, if you do 6h at 6gh and 6h at 200gh is the best diff not over 6000.
