As everyone knows one of the major problems with Bitcoin economy is hoarding. The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.

Well I think people just use their bitcoin when they are in really need of money. Bitcoin users know themselves, as well as you and me, that bitcoin's value is constantly changing, you may become a millionaire the next day or otherwise, become broke. So for me, what I do is spend some of my funds and invest the rest and take the risk. At least I've got something even if bitcoin market crashed.

I definitely use my bitcoin for my house bills like electricity water and internet bills because it is easier to transact and have lower fees here in the philippines using COINSph. But sometimes I use it to withdraw and pay for my grocery bills.

I voted for occasionally because I used my bitcoin whenever I needed money. I am supporting myself in my studies and I also helped my family with the financial expenses and because of this I withdraw my earnings from time to time. I admit it is very hard because just like the other bitcoin believers, I also want to hold my bitcoin as long as I can because it continually grow but I can't just turn away from my obligations. I do not regret it because I used the money for myself and my family and not for luxuries and bad things.

in my opinion bitcoin is not only usable and valuable in the future, because even now bitcoin can we use for transaction process and at this moment bitcoin is very valuable for its users especially for people who do not have permanent job.

I agree with you. I too am doing the same thing also. I use it often for investing in various promising ICOs and alternative coins out there. But i also use it to buy stuff(not because it is easy(which is not) but because it is cool and want to brag about it to my friends. Lol). I also have a separated wallet for saving and emergencies.

At the moment I won't use my BTC....but is true that if all the person will do the same it could be a critical factor in the BTC eco-system...cause it will be just consider as an asset / investment and not as a real currency...

I've used it sometimes, to charge my cell phone and pay some bills, but the fees doesn't make it very attractive for such use cases.
I'm confident this will be better in the future though. The network needs time to receive more improvements, and the market needs more companies, so there is more competition and lower commissions charged by these services.

Of course I always use my bitcoin even though I do not need it. I convert to php then stock only on wallet I do not know how to hold bitcoin much because I need to spend so I always convert it to bitcoin to php. I do not repent when it increases the value

I use my bitcoin when I need money. If there is no urgent need then I will keep the bitcoin until the price is really high. Yes this is true investment, even I can say this investment for the long term.

I use my bitcoin when I need money. If there is no urgent need then I will keep the bitcoin until the price is really high. Yes this is true investment, even I can say this investment for the long term.

That is the right thing to do as saving it for future can bring more profits for us as its price will be more valuable in future so using it now is not the right thing unless you are in urgent need of money then you can sell a part of it and rest save for the future.

I do not think is a good idea to use the bitcoin. Bitcoin stopped being a currency a while ago, it is only a store of value. I do not think anyone using bitcoin to pay for stuff, but only as investment or trading.

Yes, I am using my bitcoin. Although I have some bitcoin in my wallet I don’t stick all of it in it. I used to invest it to some coins, in mining and I also use to gamble my bitcoin. I used to diversify it to some useful activities so that it may earn higher and be able to lessen the risk in putting all of it in one place.

with bitcoins my rig is earning I'm planning to buy some more GPUs to make it more powerful and more balance

Rarely will I use mt BTC to purchase anything. Most times I convert them to USD. Go from there.. I don't want any traces leading back to me with BTC. I use it to pay my friends when I owe them some money and also I like building apps that let me spend them in stores like Starbucks and Target and Home Depot.

I save my btc since i still have job and salary to support my needs, I'm very optimistic of possible outcome of my btc savings, and its better for me to hold my saving for future purposes. who knows it will surprise me when the right time comes.But sometimes I use it to withdraw and buy our daily needs like food
