The server is reporting the below address as invalid
47shgHzm4mWfD2WM6YPAgLWvvxB92yc9tfjpES1PEHpB7WNBaXfMjVYdouaUxg6s36he2tZR9JgjdLr A9qoR4xJC7ZVpjNG

Whoever this belongs to I would suggest you create a new valid address.  You hash is being wasted.

Just to let you know, that whatever you did or did not do in the last hour or so the hash-rate got up and is much more stable. Smiley

Think the higher hash-rate of the pool affects it somehow... Dunno, just a stupid idea.

I get an error I'm missing "libeay32.dll". Placing it in my Sys32 folder then gives me the error "Application unable to start correctly".

I can give the detailed error code if needed..

Mining has no problems for a couple of minutes, then returns this error every 10 seconds:

[2014-05-20 12:35:49] json_rpc2.0 error: Duplicate share

Anyone has the same?

I believe cpuminer, however there is a none bug currently with cpuminer.  The devs are working on that.

Which miner gives more hashrate (simpleminer or minerd), or is it same?

cpuminer, but as said, its unstable and require both cpuminer and pool code update.
both of which I am waiting for and will do as soon as released.

How long after a block has been found should it take to show up in my wallet.  Also, what should be used as the password when setting up your miner?

Takes 60 blocks, so for example the last pending block right now is 49027, after block 49087 is found payments go out.

Ok. I had used the password I setup when generating my first wallet address. Funds just came through. I did go ahead and changed to x.

Hope so. Smiley I was on your BCN pool for the last 24 hours, but I stopped about 10-15 min ago, and started up Boolberry. Between the pitch they made in their OP on this forum (with the comparison of Boolberry to Bytecoin), and the clean slate (sorry, that negative stigma BCN has doesn't seem like it's going to go away, you have people saying they destroyed those 80% pre-mine coins, someone else saying something else, bleh), I'm going to bet on Boolberry. Looks like it has a lot of potential.

It means the address you are using is not a valid address for the pool.
I believe the default easy-miner download points you to the MRO pool, just updated *.extrmepool.org to whatever pool you are wanting to mine.

I have a question: Can I mine using multiple PCs on the same address? Otherwise I would have to create a new wallet on simplewallet for every computer I was using to mine. Can I just run multiple instances of minerd on different computers on the same address? (The coin is BCN)

yes you can, no need to make multiple wallets just use one and mine with one address.

bcn pool is down every hour! I submitted 444864333 shared to that pool, but got only 1022602. with average difficulty = 25 000 000 for that period that is >17 blocks. average block reward is 100 000 now. So, where is mine 700K of bcn? Even with orphan blocks.

I think you are confused on how the payout of the pool works.  you submit shares towards a block, once block is found THAT block gets paid out on a %  based on shares submitted towards that block by all the miners.

bcn pool has not been down every hour, if you look at the blocks found you can clearly see that.  pool is working perfectly and has found blocks all day long on a regular basis.

have you typed refresh into your wallet?
also you have to wait for 60 block confirms until your address gets paid out.

the daemon fell out of sync.  Had to restart it.
I will be doing some server maintenance later today hopefully that might help solve some of the issues with the daemon.

I have verified, all blocks with 60 confirms have been paid.  All failed payments have been manually completed.
The database says the following regarding your DD address:

hashes    577787000
lastShare    1402957775
paid    501386792839808

I can not verify where the transactions go once payment is completed.

What's wrong with the BCN pool? almost 80% of the net hash, just got 12/60 block?
I have reset the pool, should be back to normal momentarily

There was a notice on the pool stating the pool would be going down to upgrade to the latest Daemon and Wallet as well as the latest pool code.
This migration is complete.

Free bump for this thread because I like the pool developer and... of course I have a question:

33zer0w0lf, I saw you post something about accepting stratum in the Cudaminer thread?  uhhhh holy shit that would be awesome if I could get my 750 ti's on MRO.

all the pools support stratum as far as they know they should all work if your gpu miner is a stratum miner but I have not personally tested stratum gpu miners.

the reason I commented in that thread was because there was a discussion regarding the boolberry pool, which does support stratum but as far as I know there is no stratum miner capable of hashing boolberry which is wild keccak.

What's happening with http://bcn.extremepool.org/ ?

Last two hours losing connection constantly...

I would say others are too, since I see a drop in hash-rate and number of miners.

It started around 2,5 hours ago and the trouble is still here. Miner connects (Claymore GPU 3.4, nothing changed in settings; on port 7777 but acts the same on 5555; pools.txt is empty, using only .bat file for mining with no backup pools) after few tries - never from the first attempt, stays connected then disconnects, connects again... Or it doesn't at all. Then I shut it down and start it again. Acting erratic with no pattern...

Reinstalled drivers so it wasn't a software issue. It needed two attempts to connect. Currently it is connected but will see how long and will it get more disconnects and reconnects or will it stay disconnected...

Also the hash-rate which I see when the share is found increases way slower now. Takes 30 minutes to climb from starting 250 H/s to 300 and it still didn't top out on 330 where it should be! Pretty sure it wasn't like that before...

might be time to kick the pool. give me a few minutes and I will do that.  Please let me know if the issue you are seeing is resolved or not.

Yeah, deffo on the pool side something is not ok. Forgot to tell you that CPU miner worked fine, did not lose the connection - the LucasJones 1.3 (cause of my CPU which doesn't support AES)... Now it also started to loose connection. Though it connects instantly after starting it. As for GPU miner, it was connected all the time (or it reconnected but I didn't see it) but hash-rate is below the max value where it should sit. GPU utilization is fine - 99%... As CPU's.

Also I tried to mine XMR, and from a start I get some sub-max hash-rate which is very close to the max value as it should be... Ofc, I am connected almost instantly when I start the miner. Everything worked flawlesly for me till today. Maybe I'm an isolated case.  Huh

possibly isolated case, I have check with other miners using gpu and cpu and all report fine.

I can see my hashrate now, but it is WAYYY off.  I have had my miners running for over an hour now, and should be at around 30kh/s, but the pool reports 8kh/s.  What's wrong with the pool. Is it that slow? If the pool doesn't report properly will I not get paid as much, or do I get paid based on my actual share count?   I added up all the hashrates that I see on the miner, and they add up to around 30kh/s, so the site reporting 8kh/s is false. I hope this is just a bug.

I will look into it but you will get paid based on share count, sometimes it takes a while for the data to report correctly.

I just put a portion of my miners on another pool, and sure enough, the website was reporting the proper hash rate. I'm a bit skeptical to use this pool since I'm not sure if I will be paid for all my hashing power.

Sorry, man, i used your pool for a long time, but its too unstable, it is down every 24 hours for a couple of hours, FINALLY, i found http://minergate.com to mine - actually best cryptonote pool ever, it is super stable and most profitable! They had a problem with withdraws, but i received all my funds, i do not want to be unpolite and promote other pool in this thread, sorry, but Minergate kicks all other pools asses.
Mine stats
48 hours mining on extremepool gives me about 0.65 mln bcn with about 80-90% of time pool availability
48 hours mining on http://minergate.com gives me about 1 mln bcn with  100% of time pool availability
Again, i appreciate your work! But Minergate is just more profitable and stable.
Keep your work and i hope you will be as stable as Minergate.

I wanna do minergate, but I am mining stratum. Any suggestions?  Last time I checked, minergate was windows only :/

What is your miner? If you have cpuminer-multi, it is buggy with stratum - problem is that if e.g. you have 4 cores and try 4 threads with it you will have 99% of CPU idle, because it is not working in correct way. Also native cpuminer is not working with minergate, but guys made fork with improvements to make it work with minergate - https://github.com/ekimmo/cpuminer-multi - WOLFs miner with minergate support
https://github.com/ekimmo/cpuminer-multi-LucasJones - LucasJones miner with minergate support.

BUT there is still first problem with 99% of CPU idle, BUT, there is a nice workaround:
try to connect miner via "screen" like that:

[code]
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;

That example will launch 12 minerd instances each with 1 thread. And with minergate it will gives you 10% of cpu idle on 4 core.
Try to play with number of screens, but general rule is to use CPU_CORESx3 or CPU_CORESx4 to mine on cpuminer with NOT stratum protocol.
It works for me, hope it helps someone

Thanks man. I got it to work, and my account is sensing that I am mining, but it isn't actually mining. The bar on minergate turns green, but I'm not getting a hash rate. My cpu usage is up at 95%, and says that it is mining, but doesn't display any hash rate. Any ideas?

I waited, and it did start to submit shares, but VERY slowly. I'm on a 16 core CPU, and it is submitting a share about every 2-3 minutes. On other pools, it submits one every 5-10 seconds :/

it doesn't matter when it matters how many.
you might notice you are submitted shares at a higher diff than other pools.

Minergate has diff set to 444, which is very low, and I get much higher hashrates, but it takes much longer for it to submit a share. On other pools, they are usually over 6000 and submit a share about every 10 seconds. is that normal?

that is normal, and Extremepool has maxdiff set to 100000.  This creates less load on server and client.

Were you able to see why my hashrate was showing up so low on your website?  I know I have much higher hashrate I can see the hashrate on the miners themselves.

minergate is a pps system.  which means they can say they are paying you more however when you try to withdraw ... good luck..

I used to mine there but the inability to withdraw coins when the markets were high and I wanted to sell coins is what forced me to open my own pools.
don't take my word for it, read there thread, post after post about people not being able to withdraw.

Thanks man. I got it to work, and my account is sensing that I am mining, but it isn't actually mining. The bar on minergate turns green, but I'm not getting a hash rate. My cpu usage is up at 95%, and says that it is mining, but doesn't display any hash rate. Any ideas?

Just wait a bit and it will be ok, i guess it is just stats updating, i had the same.

On other pools, they are usually over 6000 and submit a share about every 10 seconds. is that normal?

that is normal but Extremepool has maxdiff set to 100000.  This creates less loan on server and client.

Were you able to see why my hashrate was showing up so low on your website?  I know I have much higher hashrate I can see the hashrate on the miners themselves.

your hash looking better now?

nothing wrong with pool, you are attempting to mine the bcn pool without a valid bcn address.
what address are you using?

Will do I just compiled the new cryptozoidberg cpuminer-multi, hashing now.
One minor thing on your page for the instructions on test stratum, you need the link to direct to the cryptozoidberg build of cpuminer-multi rather than lucasjones one and the -a options for cpuminer-multi minerd needs to be -a wildkeccak
Hate to nitpick,  I'm sure anyone testing for you will realize this.  Cool

I am waiting for the original developer of the code to look at xminning's code.  Please not his pool code just has support for the fantomcoin blockchain and does not actually have the ability to perform merged mining.

Yes, I think it will be great. FCN could become #1 alt coin due such benefits as merged mining

Another thing i noticed - https://github.com/zone117x/node-cryptonote-pool/pull/48 is a commit for duckNote address validation. Looks like patch is working on http://ducknote.xminingpool.com because once i missed my duckNote address while mining my miner missed connection, when i change it start working.
It is a major issue with http://duck.extremepool.org/ no address validation, one of the reasons i am not currently mining on your great pool.

I have a work around currently in place, there are no issues with payouts on the ducknote pool.
that commit from what I have read and heard from zone only validates the length of the address, not if it is actually valid.  if zone merges then I will update my pull, otherwise I don't trust the code.

yes, right now merged mining isn't supported by the new code, just support for the blockchain.

yeah that's right if you just started mining.  you have to wait until the first block that you submitted shares towards matures.

It seems that Ducknote payments are stuck as my pending balance is now up to ~300k. Last payment was posted 8/12/2014 7:43:39 AM and I normally get a payment every 10-20 minutes. Thanks for taking a look.

Edit: The pending balance when through just now. Not sure if anything was done, but if so thank you.

UPDATE
We have delisted both CherryNote and OrionCoin due to lack of pool and network hash rate.  The daemons for these coins were unable to locate any nodes so they have been removed from our list of pools.
If these coins return and activity increases they can be enabled.

In the pool Infinium are a couple of details to fix:

     - The network information is shown, but not the info of the pool.
     - No data blocks found, the list is empty.

33zer0w0lf when you have time could you fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Would you like to explain this?
Whole hash rate of network on silver coin is 3.24 KH/sec, of your pool is 197H/sec
So network hash rate is about 12 TIMES more then your pool rate.
What is strange? Nobody , I repeat nobody of those 3.24KH/sec DOESNOT FIND ANY BLOCK?Huh since all blocks is found by your pool???
And still with only 197 H/sec your pool set difficulty as 636903?Huh

And also very interesting: look at time that blocks are found- nearly every two minutes: you must agree it is very fast block finding for ONLY 197 H/sec on that difficulty!

  I also wonder the same thing in the pool dosh.

I wonder whether there are differences between the total paid reflected in the pool and the total received in the wallet dashcoin, I've been appreciating this mismatch since last update of the pool and is approximately -10% of all reflected in the pool.

Hi
dsh.extremepool.org have payment problem i think, i minded 880789.00000000 and i received 319616.00000000 only been 2 days now  Undecided
Known issue with the open source pool software, magnified by the recent events. Reported to developers but no fix still. I will work on that after I see what causes the wallet problems

I can give you small tip: there is old and new version of wallet and daemon. Old version makes a much less problem when sending coin then new one.
But that is not my problem: here is problem of stealing: and since that is only one pool: we, miners have no choice.
And somewhere are flow so much coins: and nobody do nothing in this case Sad

Dear @33zer0w0lf,
What version of XDN do you use?
Can you please rename duck to DarkNote,

Also as a suggestion i can recommend you to decrease the number of confirmations before payouts from 60 to 5-10 value.
And minimum payouts should be 10-100 for now for users comfort.

Thank you.

I suggest you take your issues up with the coin dev, I am just a pool operator.  I am not sure why you continue to bring your issues with the coins to me, I am not a coin dev, I just run the open source software for cryptonote coins, that's it, I have no explanations for you with the questions you are asking.

I can tell you that I have a lot of more valuable things to do with my time that set up pools for new cryptonote coins then destroy the coins, what possible purpose would that serve.
Again, please take any issues you have with specific coins directly to the coin devs.

Because you own only two pools on Earth one for SLB and one for DBK. If you shut down your pools then hashrate will drop to normal, and everyone will mine it more fair than now.
You are not just pool operator. Even you are just pool operator, is it not simple IMPOSSIBLE that only YOUR POOL that have only 1/10 hash rate find block by block.
Tell me, is it not a little strange?Huh

Any chance that failed TXs from Dashcoin will be resent to miners? There are reports of TXs that never made it to miners because the TX size was too big and don't know if those will automatically be resent. I don't know how to find all of the failed ones other than checking each one, but there are possibly 1000s of them. Thanks

Edit: Seems there might be a fix being made?

Is this pool up and running, or not operational anymore?

Shall I exclude it from default config file of yam miner, or there is a plan to bring it up?
