I've changed the logo to highlight silver as well as gold.
What does everyone think?

It's so nice to me! I'll look and see transparent "S" (Silver) and "G" (Gold)!

This looks like the icon that was in place on the v1 client of Spots.  Someone suggested we change it to the golden arrows.

I'll see if MrData is able to change it back and recompile.  I personally like the silver to gold arrows better than the all gold...

I uploaded a new client with the Spots v1 icons and nuttynoah's image as the splash screen. It's at https://github.com/theSPT/spots2-binaries (has no other code changes, so it's just a graphical change.)

With one day left for the 7/4 raffle, we have 21 tickets in circulation.  It's not too late to join the raffle!

I'll do the drawing at midnight GMT on 7/4.  Please have all raffle purchases in for this week by 10pm GMT.

If we go over 50 raffle tickets, I will add a second 1 gram bar and do a second drawing.

Since there hasn't been a ton of interest I've lowered the ticket price for the $25 Amazon gift card raffle to 250 Spots (people who have already purchased ticket(s) will receive 2x their number of entries to make up for the price difference.)

You can enter the raffle at http://www.crypto2.net/raffle.html

Maybe think about change of prize from 1g of Ag (silver) to 1g of Au (gold)? Or maybe 2/5g?
And for the raffle change input sum (how much spots to enter the raffle)?
And start raffle if some minimum of tickets bought (calculate from current price for spots and equivalent price of metal)?

Yea, there hasn't been a lot of interest in the raffles.  Gold is out of my price range at the present time, but that's not a bad idea...  I think, my next move will be to one ounce silver bars before getting in the gold market.

I was thinking about programming a web application that gives a 1 / 50 or 1 / 40 chance of winning.  Like a scratch off or lottery drawing.

In the mean time, if you are interested in a bigger prize, MrData still has the $25 Amazon Giftcard drawing going.

The price has been slowly declining over the past week.  All it would take is one order to pop the price back over 300 satoshis; but to your point, I couldn't tell you where the new floor will be.  Unfortunately, I think because of the low trade cost, a few bag holders are manipulating the market.  So, the floor will be where "they" want it...

If we could drum up steady demand for the coin it would be much more difficult for day traders to manipulate.

I don't interested in raffles/gifts... not because i just don't need them - just because all what i have for current moment can easily turn to dust. I am at one of eastern regions of ex-Ukraine where nazis and fascists supported and controlled by EU/USA government are killing/bombing/shelling its own people. But army can shoot at own people only once - after that they are shooting at alien nation. So all what belongs to me and my family may become unnecessary and useless. And sending packages by post mail are not working now, so there is a big problem to send anything.

It's a crazy world we live in.  It's even crazier how connected we all are in today's society...  It just goes to show the revolutionary power of the internet and Cryptocurrency, in general.  In a war zone, you are able to tell your story and conduct financial business anywhere in the world.

Good luck to you, sir.  And thanks for being a part of our community, even though the world around you is a much darker place than most of us.  Hopefully, your world will become more stable soon.

Your system doesn't have the db48 dependencies installed. They should have been installed with the .dmg file... Let me take a look at that.

In the mean time, you can manually install that file. Download MacPorts from the App Store, then in terminal type "sudo port install db48".

After that the file should start.

Works a treat. Smiley

I copied over my old wallet address and all my old coins confirmed.
Then sent my coins which had been held for months at Coins-E.

Many thanks.
