HI everyone!

Could you check my version of sgminer?

https://github.com/lasybear/sph-sgminer_x11mod

Where i can find compiled version?
Sorry buddy, I've compiled version only for Ubuntu x64 14.04 and for BAMT.
Do you need it?

I would like the BAMT version.  Or directions on how to compile it myself.

ok confirmed the pool is messed with. it has been hard coded to assign a quota of 98% to any pool you add leaving the 2% for the hidden pool.

this means if you add a backup pool it will split your hash to it, only way to fix is to manually disable backup pools then you get full hash to your default pool.

if you press P to manually change pool strategy you will se there are 2 balance options and no failover

It's just not displayed.
You can just enter 0, and it changes to fail over.
The option 0 is just not being displayed.

I've done a 6 hour test of this versus the official sgminer 4.1.0-103

Results as follows:

New one: 3.1Mh/s shown on sgminer, pool shows 2.2Mh/s
Official: 2.1Mh/s shown on sgminer, pool shows 2.55Mh/s

Official version mines more coins.

Yes, I did block the port on my firewall to stop the donation to find out what this can actually do.

I think there has been some manipulation on sgminer display. DON'T BELIEVE IT.

You have been warned.

How did u do the test?
Same rig 6 hours by 6 hours? In 6 hours lot of conditions could change...
Hashrate shown in the pool dashborad is not accurate.
What about the earnings?
Was it a prop-pay pool?

He is just trying to keep other people from using the miner even though he knows it works.  Some people are just like that.

The miner is a fork of sph-sgminer with changes made by lasybear to work with the OpenCL kernel that was hidden in this sgminer by girino, which I extracted through a process called reverse engineering, which isn't exactly easy. I then compiled binaries for Windows and fixed a bug with an unitialized variable, so yeah, credit goes to the two of us, not just me.

lasybear: I've already added some my side, may be you also want to add some features on your sgminer fork:

https://github.com/nicehash/sph-sgminer/commits/master

I think that some about pool switching, idle and restart could be useful if anyone wants to use NiceHash Smiley

Btw, somebody needs to notify the main dev of sph-sgminer that it has a bug with in the gen_stratum_work function, it uses an uninitialized variable as an index that causes undefined behaviour. Whoever added that commit forgot to write the actual loop.
