I installed the wallet from github but it only has 4 active connections and stays at 120 weeks behind, its been like this for over 30 minutes already. Any idea how long it should stay like this?

I have a large amount in cryptsy that I want to get out asap after reading everything here

Make sure you are using the casinocoin repo and not the transcoder repo.

I am pretty sure I did, I left it on all day and its not synced. I also received my 5 CSC I sent from Cryptsy as a test.

Is that enough to confirm I am using the correct version? Is there any other way to verify?

Thanks

the main seed is up. It should be fine. Something else must be going on.

Try this command if you you are on linux and you will get a version string:

Guys I have a lot of CSC in Cryptsy and want to take it out but there is no damn wallet for MAC
looking at how bad cryptsy is I am going to have to dump them if I cant find an answer

There is a mac wallet. It just might not be compiled for your particular osx version. That being said, you cna compile your own mac wallet.

https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/releases/download/1.2.0.0/Casinocoin-osx-Qt.dmg

Build instructions if the above doesn't work:

Sell for BTC. Buy DGB or DOGE (something stable with high volume, DGB because it is very fast and accepted in a lot of places) - withdraw these, sell them for BTC on Poloniex or something.

Yes, the available Mac version is for the older version before the fork that reduced supply and subsidy. DO NOT USE!

Here's the release page:

https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/releases

I think you are right. That mac client is the wrong one. I misread it when I grabbed the link. When 1.3 came out we released a mac client for 1.3 about 3 weeks after. So it wan't included in this notice. Unfortunately, I do not have a copy. Casinocoin may have a copy. However, you should be able to compile it for your imac from source.

Try this 1.3.0.0 version: https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/releases/download/1.3.0.0/CasinoCoin-Qt.zip

I don't think it worked on Mavericks because apple made significant changes to how xcode was delivered on that version.

Right now, Casinocoin's price is really dirt cheap. These times are perfect to buy more CSC and hold them for the future, as it would certainly increase in price due to its demand and use in casinos. I really can't wait for the new CSC wallet to be release.  Smiley

Looking at how many are for sale you dont need to tell anyone. There are hardly any coins for sale. Its a good sign.

yep. It's a safe bet that this trend is just going to get worse too. When coins get bought, they don't come back into the market. The decline in liquidity seems to be accelerating.

Not only that, people are taking coins out from cryptsy which is reducing coins available for sale to be exchanged.

I opened a ticket with Cryptsy, I hope to get my issue resolved. It says I am over my daily or monthly limit but I am far from it.

I take it the majority of you who hold CasinoCoin are interested because you play casino games.

For those this relates too, I have a question

1. What do you want to see from a VIP program that relates to an online casino, and?
  a) What do you expect?
  b) Does it matter to you?
  c) What would make a casino VIP program stand out to you?
  e) Would you join a casino simply due to a VIP program?
  g) You do not care.

Btw dev in almost done. We have. Few issues to deal with but it's coming to a close. If anyone wants a feature ask now or it will be a while. So throw some ideas out on what you might like to see.
