Everyone,

Thanks for your support. I just wanted to make everyone aware that a BTC account has been setup to accept donations if anyone wishes to contribute for development. None of this money is for myself etc. This fund is strictly for outsourcing development and potentially to provide some support for a foundation if we can get one organized. So far, we've collected 5 BTC from members and I will be contributing some BTC myself in the next few weeks.

Currently, we've located a developer to assist with re-skinning the client in addition to making a few other aesthetic/marketing related changes. For this we have agreed to contract with this particular developer for up to 3 weeks starting in mid-october when he returns from vacation.

For this upcoming release, we are targeting the modernization of the client, adding additional GUI functionality, updating how DNS seeds are located, and other usability/update features. There is also some interest in looking at what changes we can pull in from litecoin to bring the client up to match. Please be aware that we will be avoiding any changes that would necessitate a fork. So no max coin, subsidy, or diff calc changes at this time. Preserving backwards compatibility is of the utmost importance.

If you would like to contribute, the following two possibilities exist:

1. Please submit enhancement requests to https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/issues

2. For financial donations, please consider contributing BTC to this address that I have setup: 1NGvxkdQra41xcy7JWnucnLg7nV169p8js

Thank you

Do you have a Casino coin address I could donate to?
May be we could also pay developers in Casinocoins in the future.

Sure I'll make one for this.

Looks like that wallet downtime totally killed the momentum.  Hopefully we'll get it back.

The way I look at it, if Casinocoin is still on top of the sponsor coins list, the bull run is still on.

Hey Guys, While I am Just finishing up the Final touches on the new Casinocoin.org Website (we still need a few pages of content written and then hopefully have a custom Casinocoin video for the homepage).

I decided to get my old wallet up and running again, at the same time revamping CccityPoker into a whole new Website.
This time around it's simple and eye pleasing while it packs all the features you'd expect from a poker website.
Every new account get's 10 Free Chips (csc) to start(you must play through them before withdrawl) so why not signup ?!
I also need some help to test for any bugs I may have missed, so please go sign up and play some Poker with your CasinoCoins at:

Casinocoin 2.0 Poker
http://c2-tech.com

Cheers!

Site itselt looks really good. I think domain name should be something else - c2-tech doesn't match somehow with the site. c2poker.com for example is available...

Could you add bitraise.me to the mining pools? And most of the mining pools listed are dead links.

You rock bro. BTW, if you have time, let's chat on skype. I'll give you some changes for the website. Where can I get at the source? I can add content. I know we need to start working on translations too.

Hi

Yes certainly,

I will leave you with this image,

a) If I hand you a card with Bitcoin on it - what will you do with it without knowing what Bitcoin is?
b) If I hand you a card with Casinocoin on it - what will you do with it, probably believe you can spend it on a casino - agree?

What are our intentions?

1. We intend to have Casinocoin Prypto cards created which will be Casinocoin branded with a value on them.
2. We have 16 FIAT casinos who are willing to accept these cards as deposit options (I will not disclose).
3. The cards will be redeemed by the casinos for a set $amount.
4. The casinos will then redeem the Casioncoins on a 'private exchange' for the $ value in exchange for a 10% affiliate fee.

So as you can see we are going to use Casinocoin as an affiliate and marketing tool for casinos as currently this is what they need.

This is not about blockchain technology, this is about brand awareness and useage for acquisition.

Once Bitcoin and Crypto in general is ready to be adopted the brand will be in a position to be accepted alongside their 'preferred' choice.

This will also motivate Bitcoin casinos to accept Casinocoin alongside.

We will be valuing Casinocoins at 1 coin = $1 on the exchange until such time the price of Casinocoin passes this minimum.

No members of the public will be able to exchange on the service only opt-in casinos.

The Casinos will only be able to redeem Prypto codes for the casinocoin to be exchanged on the service.

This is a 100% brand/affiliate project to raise awareness of casinocoin and bring the price up to $1, without hurting any business during the process.

thanks

I wasnt expecting that. I thought that You will create a site (online casino) like c2-tech.com is. This is huge and definately will help awareness (and the worth of course  Wink). I hope You guys will succeed.

When we can expect first Casinocoin Prypto cards to be ready for acquisition? I believe in my country these cards will not be available (to buy and use), but to own a few would be cool.

Thank you,

Those who understand the gaming industry will understand what we are doing.

We have many years at the 'top' of the industry.

Yes this is rather big.

The next release of the client will include some features to support prypto.com's use of Casinocoin to back their funding method. We'll also be including some direct marketing features such as displaying promotions for casinos that accept the coin, etc. The goal is to evolve the wallet into a more useful platform that helps the user locate places where the coin is accepted.

All around this is dramatically improving the position of the coin in both gaming and crypto. Personally, I'm quite excited about 16 established fiat casinos using casinocoin as a funding method through prypto. Establishing this type of adoption for the coin has been a goal all along.

There will be more information as we get closer to the release.

Cheers

BTW, prypto is actively recruiting resellers for a distribution network. The service already exists and has distributors. If you or someone else wants to resell cards or has a line on retail/convenience store placements, I believe they are accepting applications for additional resellers.

Network hashrate seems to be picking up again
http://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/casinocoin-network-hashrate-chart

Also price in Cryptsy has stabilized in 3K. Good starting point when some developments are published (new improved wallet, prypto cards, new webpage). Exciting times ahead.

3000 is a bargain.  People will start to realize that when casinocoin goes live with 16 fiat casinos on prypto's private exchange. A casinocoin is less than a penny and those casinos will be redeeming them at $1 each. You buy a 100 CSC prypto card and you can load $100 into a casino.  How long do you think CSC will stay at a $0.01? lol

As more information comes out over the next couple months, I think people are going to get it and you'll be unlikely to see 3000 ever again.

Careful with using CoinWarz...they are slow to update coin data. Specifically the diff. Right now they say CSC is 37.2816 when it is actually 48.63. Makes a big difference in mining profitability.

Plus the casinocoin diff changes with every block. So it tends to move around the list alot. BTW, it is interestign to note that the more hashpower we accumulate the less volatile the diff calculation will be.
