It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I think Supercoin is doing well to stay above 7k despite the fork issues and having JUST been dumped from a large pump which is really terrible timing for the coin.

The fact it can stick out 7k right now means we will be at 20k in a week when volume comes back after VRC dump.

It's ok for serveral hours... POS too.

After all, It's out of synced.
[/quote]

When I installed the 2.1.1, I exited the wallet and deleted the supercoin folder in appdata. I then installed the new wallet then exited again and then inserted the conf file. Once it was synced I then restored from backup.
It ran for 12 hours or so and then when I woke up, to my dismay, it was out of sync again and I was about to post my experience but it synced while I was writing the post and it has been fine since. It was like it was struggling to keep up. It is definitely on the correct blockchain and running fine now.
Hope that helps you in some way.

Not at the moment it seems. I'll keep an eye on it. Didn't think of that! I was just happy it was working again. It says it is staking but there are no coins listed as such at the moment.

Well, my coins are all shown as spendable but I am receiving mined payments and the staking icon says it is staking and network weight is 255. I'm kinda desperate to get my coins off mint and bitrex so I can get some decent returns.

It will drop when the exchange wallets come back. All the worriers and weak hands will panic sell, it always happens like that...I would look to buy around 4k to 5k if you want to pick up a good-sized stake. The rebound could be substantial and quick , but it is difficult to tell how low it might go (the lower the better, as I would like a lot more myself !)

Bigger chunks of coin (bigger relative to the whole blockchain) get to stake blocks first, so you may find a fragmented balance or lower CPU power may be holding stake back. it will all come through in the end, but keeping the wallet open 24/7 should show something.

If you have a lot of small fragments , use 'Coin Control' in the wallet to consolidate the younger ones.

Under 10k is always a good time to invest. It really could reach more than 20k in few days.

They're not fragmented Sad 100% are stuck, and I have a very High high high high end CPU Cheesy and the staking icon is grey Sad

I alerted mintpal dev before i'll tweet mention them hope it works.

For those who has problem such as If the coin amount differs, then use repairwallet command in console.
