When I'm mining I keep getting the message: "Waiting for work to be available from the pool."

Talkminer stops mining from that point on (I am getting normal Mhs). Mining starts again when I restart talkminer. Pretty annoying since I wasted a few days of mining like that.

Any1 know what to do??

If you have CG Watcher set your miner to restart if no work received for 5 minutes, works nice...

Yes mate, you can use CGWatcher with SGMiner... I'm not sure if it's possible to do it in a .bat file, it's a setting in the CGWatcher interface.

If new miners come, the will vote for higher reward. So stop crying about the low reward, for now the hasharate is stable. If somebody is worry about "mining profitability this is not your coin, go to Coinwarz and choose the first. Personally I will continue mining, maybe next time reward is 3.

demonstration of the voting system: 40 votes from the same dude   Not a big example for democracy. It rather show the limitation.
There isn't much point in continuing mining (there isn't much anything else to mine either... that's why I am a bit pissed off)

The real issue is, if your a late comer like going in right now, seeing how it was mined @ a higher reward back then, than it is now, you already know some people own a ton of coin. So when it hits a exchange you know those guys are going to be for the most part dumping it, making mining at this lower reward even worse.

And yes, I hate to break it to you, profits and innovation go hand in hand here. You need both for a successful coin.

This is kinda like a slow moving instamine or premine type deal. now those that have, will snuff out those that have not. Most who already have a large amount dont care anymore because they have a good chunk. It just looks bad to an outsider.

BTW, it looks like the issues with the pause is ONLY with ATI cards. My ATI cards wont stay running without needing to be restarted.

I have some Nvidia cards and they mine without issues and no lock up ( pauses )

Change the name of SGMiner to cgminer if using CGwatcher, if you are using the latest CGremote it works with  out having to change the name of the file.

He does not even need to do that all they need is a .bat file with the flags and pools, pointing to the sgminer.exe, load it up in the profile , save and then mine.
