Anon coins are going to blow up bigger than any other coins. There, I said it Smiley
Why? Well, Andresen already said he doesn't want to implement coinjoin into bitcoin. So, the traceability is an issue for all the criminal types. Anon coins bring solution. Would not be surprised if monero/darkcoin trade at a significant price.

Anon is important, it's always been a major turn off in regards to Bitcoin, however I firmly believe nothing will challenge Bitcoin.

So a good second coin is needed for transfer into and out of Bitcoin, this second coin will itself be the decentralised mixer Bitcoin needs.

Now we are just fighting over who will be that number 2 coin.

the price go easy over 0.01 in the next 24 hours

"Monero is simply a fully decentralised anonymous transaction CryptoCoin. Darkcoin requires centralised (rich get richer) nodes to perform CoinJoin anonymity.
The creator of CoinJoin (a core Bitcoin developer) has said CoinJoin is in every way inferior to Monero tech.
So simply put, Darkcoin is a weak attempt to implement an inferior technology. However it's being pumped 24 hours a day as the Bitcoin killer and the followers believe the Darkcoin lead developer to be the next Satoshi.
They actually believe Darkcoin is the final CryptoCoin. I would urge caution.
Monero, Bitcoin and even Ethereum and not the final CryptoCoin, far from it."

to all darkcoin lyer and the 50% Darkcoin premine Dev i only say this

"I know you're a major Darkcoin advocate and I don't mind you being into Darkcoin, but the lies you spread are borderline fraud.

- Monero offers the Bytecoin tech without the pre-mine, also MRO developers are leading all miner and client speed improvements over Bytecoin. They really are now in the lead.
- The community agrees with this, that is why MRO hashrate is currently higher than all other CryptoNote coins combined.
- Darksend is not a good improvement, great minds in Bitcoin IRC talked about how it's not all that great. It has centralisation issues, trust issues, attack issues.
- Ring sig in Monero cannot be compared to Darkcoin, Darkcoin is mere puff in comparison."

I guess they have to get it out of their systems.

I plan to reduce at 0.0122, buy back around 0.008.

To justify these prices after the exchanges are done listing MRO, more and more visible development on the core seems crucial or we may see an epic pullback.  Still, the demand for privacy is going to be huge and will backstop us somewhere, as long as MRO is the leader in this niche.  If I knew where, I wouldn't tell.

I'm a big believer in MRO, I genuinely think it could become the 2nd coin. No scammy premine and IPO bullshit and a really solid reason for existing. It's anonymity is second to none.

However

At present its very 'techy' and not very user friendly. It really needs an image lift for it to take on wider adoption. The dev team need to get something together to create an easier access ecosystem around the coin.

I'm speculating that Monero is bullshit and will go to .00000001 based on the quality of the "community" involved.

Whenever a new coin has a pack of rabid, flame-retardant fanboys foaming at the mouth over it in trollboxes and forums worldwide, it gives me pause. Most of the time these people don't even know they are brainwashed and pumping on behalf of a larger, more powerful entity who will soon hang them out to dry.

I've watched this play out least ten times in the last 2 months, and nobody learns a thing. Different coin, same mind control techniques, same pump and dump. The only thing that ever changes is the name of the coin.

That would be true regardless of the coin.  Once it burns off, you'll find there is gold under that load of crap.  This has happened before as well, just less often.  Gold is after all rare.

This is irrelevant. What matters in the long run is if the technology efficiently covers a necessity. Privacy is a big, big necessity these days. If the MRO devs keep it solid and the hard work goes on and it turns out a solid product that addresses all of the privacy problems within monetary transactions (what BTC originally intended by failed to do so), do the math. This is how real value is created, nothing of this hyped out pumps shit. Just give it time.

If you think you can contribute to a discussion of fundamental valuation of MRO, please see:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=597878.msg6883247#msg6883247

15 minute chart:  pattern of higher lows and higher highs is broken, which puts my upside bias into doubt, on an intraday basis.  not enough data to have a daily view.  obvious, i know.

eventually i need to get MRO data into the bloomberg terminal, so that i can use my favorite proprietaries on it.

MRO cannot scale for real world use. It's already dead in the water.

It's having bloat issues already.

Do you have any evidence for this?

The Bitcoin blockchain is many times larger than the Monero blockchain. Bitcoin is handling it OK, so why wouldn't Monero be able to?
