I'm worried about Vericoin taking buys away from XMR. How much of this downturn do you guys think is related to sells who went on to buy VRC? What's a good argument to convince people to hold XMR over VRC?
It looks like smart money is already moving from VRC to XMR and eventually XC. I wouldn't consider someone who invests in either of those three to be very smart. Unless they do so temporarily as a way to increase their BTC, of course. But if they invested in DRK they'd be geniuses, right chief?

Still waiting for a real anon coin
Once we finish the I2P connection. XMR will be the most advanced anonymous crypto. No equivalent.

You're waiting, but the train is starting to leave the station.

You're waiting, but the train is starting to leave the station. I'm assuming you are still long on XMR? I was too until very recently but with the price approaching below $2 levels, I don't know what to think anymore.

I was too until very recently but with the price approaching below $2 levels, I don't know what to think anymore. Bitcoins price dropped below $100 many times with many people having bought in at >$200, the people who held on and believed made 3 - 6 times return, the fickel speculators lost. If you bought because of of hype or pumping power, then it's perhaps time to leave. If you bought because of the fundamentals, then it's time to buy more.

You're waiting, but the train is starting to leave the station. If you try to say that XMR is already in the train... wow, it's awesome, because the only thing that other currencies want is to fight on top of the speeding train.

I consider it is inappropriate to compare the Bitcoin's development "curve" and the "curve" of development of any alternative cryptocurrencies

In general the curve of Monero's issue gives an advantage to "early" miners

Anon coins are going to blow up bigger than any other coins. There, I said it Why? Well, Andresen already said he doesn't want to implement coinjoin into bitcoin. So, the traceability is an issue for all the criminal types. Anon coins bring solution. Would not be surprised if monero/darkcoin trade at a significant price. It's the watchlist for you pal!

I doubt we'll get a full retrace of the pump. Not gonna lie, I was kinda glad to see the price come down. I sold to early. But can't complain with 2.5-3x gains in BTC. Now to get back in XMR...

IMO, XMR has no future, because the market can't withstand such amount of coins. It will only get worse in near future.

I don't understand why the devs made integration with i2p. I don't understand such step. IMO this indicates insolvency of Monero

When you write your opinion you are expected to support it too if you want people to take you seriously. So...why it indicates so?

Monero team likes to change XMR and they are trying to make it better. And it is very good. However, there is some unnecessary improvements such as integration with i2p, IMO this indicates a lack of the level of their professionalism.

Inflation drops every block. The problem will get better as time goes on. Not worse.

I read that the devs of XMR use botnet to make fake demand for this coin. Is it true?
PS If it's true, I'll be very disappointed in XMR team
