I read that the devs of XMR use botnet to make fake demand for this coin. Is it true?
PS If it's true, I'll be very disappointed in XMR team
That's true. They also kill kittens with their bare hands and drink milk stolen from a baby's bottle. Seriously, fake demand from a botnet, WTF!?!

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

^Yes, botnets seems to be moving to Bytecoin and still the Monero hash rate is huge - this and the XMR volume shows a great support to XMR. You as an Bytecoin sockpuppet should see "something wrong" here, and you are scared. You should be even more scared realizing that the the Bytecoin dumps are just to begin. This will give some dump volume to Bytecoin in it's final days.
Edit: When a Bytecoin price becomes 1 satoshi even 2 satoshis will double it's price, but not for long - then it'll start trading for 1 satoshi for 1000 bytecoins and then it'll be removed from all the exchanges and will be finally death. Sell your bytecoins until you have the opportunity and the time frame is not on your interest - just sell it now.

100 BTC buy wall has popped up @0.002 over on Poloniex, seems to have pushed the price up a bit from a low of 0.00235 to 0.00265.

Use your brain! There is no evidence at all suggesting any members of the team are using botnets at all. All of this FUD comes from one team member stating that he knows a botnet owner that is mining Monero. Seriously you could have found out that yourself. Secondly, even if a team member was using a botnet, how would any of us find out about it? Come on dude start thinking for yourself! Why would some core member admit to using a botnet even if that was the case!!!!! Just to clear things up: no team member has admitted to using any sort of botnet. I know a few team members are cloud mining but that is normal. (Or they were cloud mining, the currently difficulty might not make cloud mining worth it.) Everything is ok. The core team are working hard on this coin day and night and things are making good progress.

Please don't feed the trolls. PS. You can usually conclusively identify these sock puppet troll type accounts by looking at their posting history. It almost always starts with whole sequence of one-line low-content posts to artificially bump up their post count. I don't know if this is automated or just a process these (likely paid) trolls go through to create new accounts for trolling. For example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=304209;sa=showPosts;start=40

I'm speculating that Monero is bullshit and will go to .00000001 based on the quality of the "community" involved.
Whenever a new coin has a pack of rabid, flame-retardant fanboys foaming at the mouth over it in trollboxes and forums worldwide, it gives me pause. Most of the time these people don't even know they are brainwashed and pumping on behalf of a larger, more powerful entity who will soon hang them out to dry.
I've watched this play out least ten times in the last 2 months, and nobody learns a thing. Different coin, same mind control techniques, same pump and dump. The only thing that ever changes is the name of the coin.
This is irrelevant. What matters in the long run is if the technology efficiently covers a necessity. Privacy is a big, big necessity these days. If the MRO devs keep it solid and the hard work goes on and it turns out a solid product that addresses all of the privacy problems within monetary transactions (what BTC originally intended by failed to do so), do the math. This is how real value is created, nothing of this hyped out pumps shit. Just give it time. Turns out the only thing Monero actually did was destroy value and it actually _was_ one of the "hyped out pumps shit(s)." Monero won't make it. The name is too silly and the coin is too unoriginal.

Have you taken a good look at a XMR chart recently? It has the exact same pattern as any pump n dump coin: A stratospheric pump followed by a slow and neverending dump.
