It looks like its an issue with the build environment (missing dlls or older C++ visual studio stuff) of the person I had help build the windows wallet. I'll have to set aside some time to create a build environment (since I don't use Windows) to solve this issue.
From those I talked to... the wallet works fine on Windows... just generates the errors when you attempt to close the wallet.

I still think the wallet looks awesome, in the future I'd like:
A fire engine siren to sound when the wallet starts + flashing lights.
Some of the iconic images - fire axe, helmet, fire engine, etc.
A fire safety tip when the wallet starts.
A story about a hero.
Items purchased with Blazecoins (eventually), eg chrome rims for a big fire truck, super water cannon, etc.
Just a few suggestions but I think this coin will progress over many years and keep up the good work.

Windows wallet has been fixed and there is no more runtime error when you close the wallet. http://blazeco.in/downloads/Blazecoin_qt_final.7zTurns out it was my stupid oversight that missed a "clear" and out in the open CONFIG statement to build a static version of the Blazecoin windows wallet... EXCEPT... we don't build static versions of the Blazecoin wallet Need to learn to drink more coffee!

I just tested from three different wallets. (one of the old wallets, one of the upgraded wallets that was installed on a place that had an old version of the wallet, and another that was a straight brand new wallet) All three of the wallets were able to send to an exchange.

I've been very open that Worldcoin was the inspiration for the redesign and look of the wallet. Without the heavy work done by Worldcoin I would not have realized that CSS can be used heavily in the QT GUI. So yes, Blazecoin is standing on the shoulders of the giant that is Worldcoin. Plus Blazecoin is standing on the shoulders of Litecoin and Bitcoin.

Open source is open source.
Still no joy with Windows 8 yet.
Still mining 24/7 , great fundamentals with this currency.

I've got a windows 8 machine now and there's no issue with the latest wallet. What issues are you seeing?

Nice upate on the wallet. Wish I mined more of this at the begining lol. But have a fair share of the coin. Going to continue to hold them for a while longer until I decided on what to do with the coins I have.

Remember that if you want options of trading Blazecoin on larger exchanges you need to vote to show your support. Comkort - https://comkort.com/vote#BLZ - Currently at 249 votes (Top vote getter is at 1957) (you can vote 3 times an hour) AllCoin - https://www.allcoin.com/vote/#BLZ - Currently we are in 18th place with 363 votes (you can vote once an hour) SwissCex - https://www.swisscex.com/voting - Currently we have 574 votes and moving up quickly (you can vote 3 times every hour) UseCryptos - https://www.usecryptos.com/voting - Currently we are in 32nd place with 10 votes (you can vote here every 30 minutes) I've sent additional inquiries to Mintpal and Bittrex and they are considering the situation. PLUS... we need to encourage more large pools to support Blazecoin by hosting a pool for miners. I've sent requests to a number of larger pools that have ability to generate some traffic and noise, but if any of you know of any pool or even want help setting up your own pool, let me know and I'll help you.
