not really. They demonstrate many times that they can be trusted and it`s not in they`r interest to do a 51% attack

No, they were already caught trying to double spend.  They haven't demonstrated they can be trusted, they allowed themselves to breach 51%.  Last time a pool (BTCGuild) neared even 40% they cranked up their fees to curb their growth.

GHASH ain't done shit.

bitpop, your consistent badgering about Ghash is only making miners curious to try it out. After I read 6 or 7 of your hate Ghash one liners I couldn't resist but try them out. Now I'm mining at their pool, getting a better reward then other pools I've tried. If you've put all your eggs in one basket and bitcoin sounds like you have I can understand why you want people to stay away from Ghash, but one line 6 word sentences isn't quality feedback to someone or much an incentive for them to just listen to you out right. Ghash grabs the network, takes the network. If you are so against Ghash, then get off your ass and really do something about it. 6th grade sentences aren't going to help.

What a pile of crap.

Ghash is a FRAUD SCAM BEWARE
Please justify your assertion with some facts. It may test you though as 1) You will have to use more than 1 sentence. 2) Your assertion is false so you will fail to back up with 'facts' and 3) You won't be able to use the words die or scam.
Looking forward to your qualified answer.

I will not honor rule 3

Death to scammers

Excellent then you have confirmed the only facts in your posts are that you use the words scam and die in single sentences and that you concede your scam accusation is both false and malicious. Thanks for clearing that up.

bitpop is always unable to back up his accusations. He just resorts to the usual GHash is a..... comment. There is no intelligence or facts behind his posts. Unfortunately he is doing his own 51% attack on this thread and preventing actual questions and information being shared. FACT.

You've been here since 12/2013 and you think they're trustworthy?  You must have your head up your....

They have demonstrated that they're unwilling to do anything to mitigate obtaining 51%.  Name one thing that they have done to spread out the power.

He doesn't need to - it's been proven already & all the facts that you say don't exist are on the first two pages of this thread for everyone to see, particularly:

Question: Are your staff still messing with your wallet addresses & double spending against the Bitcoin network?
Thanks  Wink
The issue you refer to was thoroughly investigated and shared by us at the time, it related to people who are no longer involved with CEX.IO We are very aware of our security obligations and treat it with the highest priority.

Indeed, a very valid question. Can't see this thread lasting long  Cheesy
Edit: I also have a question:
Will you be completely ignoring every question from your users who post on this thread in the same way that CEX do on their "official" thread?
Ta  Smiley
Our aim is to share important information regarding developments within CEX.IO and Ghash.IO to the wider community.
We welcome interaction and will endeavour to communicate effectively.

That's not true at all. You denied any involvement in double spending at all for weeks - you even tried to laugh it off - remember this answer?:

email from support

Derrik Goon (CEX.IO)

Hello uk1,

I would like to inform you that this information you are reading is not accurate, we are a company that does not involve itself in any sort of online gambling, its for the fishes.

Best Regards,
Derrik G.
CEX.IO Support

This, even though the proof was there for everyone to see (I suggest everyone read this):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321630.msg3445371#msg3445371

The only thing that there is no proof of, is that the staff members you finally admitted were responsible for it are no longer working for you. Hell, it could even be you who did it, who knows?

"Thoroughly investigated" indeed. That's like the police investigating the police - guess what - nothing happens. You did it, you tried to cover it up, you lied about it & you got caught. I advise everyone to take this into consideration before trusting these people with your hard earned BTC - history shows us that they are not to be trusted.

Denying things happened when they obviously did is odd behaviour - isn't it? I'm sure there's a medical term for it........cognitive dissonance maybe?

What if the bitcoin code was changed to reject 'hash finds' from ip addresses when that ip address has reached a certain number of 'hash finds' in a given week...

[edit] so if a pool reached 48% then any new hash finds will be rejected until an amount of time has past...
