ghash will fail soon enough.
No reason to hate them, they are just trying to make some money in a cut throat world.

Soon they will fall off the radar and make room for the next mtgox.

I don't want them to fail - I just want them to be part of the community instead of trying to own it - do some simple stuff to avoid excessive growth - there's tons of options for them. No-one should own it. There's no I in us.

I've consistently gotten .125ish BTC per day for the past 4 days. So, short just a bit - Am I incorrectly measuring something or am I spazzing out too early?

Granted - My results on Ghash have consistently beaten what I got on BTCGuild, but ideally I'd like what the BTC calculator says I can get or more.

GHash has an exceptionally high orphan rate. Please mine at a community-friendly pool.

Anyone else having issues with 2FA on Ghash? I've tried it multiple times trying to withdraw BTC.. But won't receive a text or phone call with my code.

Got a good contact email for them? I've tried emailing them before about certificate issues but never got a response.

I don't have an email for them but I use the Google 2FA app on all sites I'm able to so I don't have to wait for codes.

I actually just got a whole bunch, must have been a reception issue.

I didn't do the google auth because if you lose your phone are you shit out of luck? Or is that incorrect?

If you didn't save the token used to setup your 2FA and lose your phone, you are SOL.  If you're not, then that means they will remove 2FA, eliminating the security it provides.  Making exceptions just means your system is vulnerable to social engineering.

I still obviously have access to my phone, can I get this "code" if I never saved it from setup to which I do not recall ?

I don't believe there is any way to do it after the fact, other than removing the 2FA (most sites with 2FA should let you remove it by using the already enabled 2FA) and adding it again.  I generally take a screen grab of the QR code and save it to a TrueCrypt volume as my backup.

Haven't seen that thread Moria...

Altho I do have a question... According to BTC profit calculators I should get .145 btc per day with 5TH. While I know there is some variance day to day, I thought Ghash.IO had a pretty low variance due to the size.

I just did a quick calc on my own past 24 hours with 2.3TH = 0.0728, so in line with calcs (up a bit in fact). In the days prior I saw there were a quite a few 2 hour blocks going through, this would probably explain the variance / lower return from expected that you have noted over that period.

Thanks to eleuthria his comment regarding recovery of code is correct ;-) Anyone experiencing 2FA issues with our site should in the first instance go to the support page where the procedure to recover access is detailed either for Authy or Google 2FA problems.

Thank you sir. I figured that was it as the variance was only about 15 percent, but when it comes to money I try make sure!!!

I have a newbie question:  I pointed one of my Antminer S1's to the GHash.io multipool.  It shows that I am only getting less than 3 MH - I guess that this low rate is normal for other coins besides Bit coins?  Also, it's been over an hour and I have not gotten a payout.  Am I wasting the Antminer on the multipool?  Can someone help?

Hey aurel57, the first instance (ID 16327) is the correctly completed block, the other 2 have been incorrectly reported and duplicated. We are currently investigating the repetitions.

Hey Rock53, your Antminer S1 is a SHA256 algorithm machine which works with Bitcoin (BTC). The Multipool is an Altcoin based Scrypt algorithm pool. Your Antminer will not work correctly pointed to the Multipool. Point your Ant back to the BTC pool and it will start working for you again.
