Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm confused. Why all the talk about negatives balances? This isn't the Cex.io thread. This is for Ghash.io which is a pool and certainly they don't charge maintenance fees that cause your balance to become negative. Cex.io is cloudmining, so this topic should be discussed in "Service Discussions".

wow bro your comment is a LOT far fetched dont you think, do you even use Cex.io and ghash.io?

Tell me something, if you want to see where your coin balances are where do you go???..... thats right you go to cex.io and click finances.

If you order cloud on cex.io where does it mine ? Ghash.io, can you point your cloud to any other pool? No you can not.

If you are mining script multi pool and you want to check to see all the coins you have accumulated where do you go to check that./.... thats right Cex.io

If you point your own equipment to Ghash.io where do you check to see the coins you have collected.... thats right Cex.io

are you catching my drift yet there bro... thay are 2 different sites yet one in the same. the sites are entangled together to confuse noobs like you into thinking your not getting ripped off. they want to make it as complicated as possible to compare your earning with your balances. they like to throw as many numbers at you as possible so you hopefully wont catch on that your getting screwed and paid half your rewards.

Ghash.io is to Cex.io as white is to rice Smiley

The point I'm making is valid.

This is the Mining Pool sub forum. This sub forum is not intended for the discussion of cloudmining services. If you want to discuss CEX.io cloudmining profitability perhaps you should start a thread in the appropriate Service Discussion sub forum then where all the other cloudmining threads are... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=85.0

On the FAQ it says you trade DVC to BTC.  I don't see it.  Am I missing something?

Wow, it's dead in here.

Also noticed that we aren't earning anything in the mutlipool all day today.  We're getting mostly POT and occasional AUR, but DGB is highlighted green and it states were currently ming DGB+DOGE.

None of the blocks found earned anything.  Is something going on?

I noticed it too, i have 7 MH/s all day on the script multipool and got nearly nothing for two days, last day DGB was highlighted and i switched off that coin with the checkbox, but it seems that didn't help.

each block shows converted: 0.00000000

i'm going to stay for another 24 hours, if i didn't get paid i'm switching to wafflepool

Tried it there, too, and it seems as if their system really is fucked up. Well, after a quick look, I pointed my miners to other pools again.

Hey Philipsma1957, Our apologies, we have had payout issues in the LTC+Doge merged pool. Any pending payments should and will be paid. Have you raised a support ticket? That way you will get specific feedback on your situation. The payout issue has been commented in our support forum https://support.cex.io/hc/en-us/articles/203393656

Its still a great pool. I picked up some hashlets from gaw and pointed them here. Not bad payout still. They offer $0.01 per 5 ghs so I am happy.

GHash.IO/CEX.IO,

Yet again, your auto-payout system is broken.  My balance is beyond my threshold and it's not doing anything...again.  I then reluctantly executed a manual withdrawal (with commission) because I really want my coins but that's not working either.  It says "Confirmation email has been sent. Please click the link in the email to confirm withdrawal." but I never got such an email.  I repeated this process about 4 times to no avail.  What's going on?  Can you please fix this shite once and for all already?  This has been an ongoing thorn in the side.

I made an withdrawal of  0.26838287BTC and you sent it in a Orphaned block: 323373 (Orphaned)
Here: http://blockchain.info/tx/3a6938bfbf458535774a74577f723076c49b598cbb1f175720ef82ad93a0f837
This needs to be fixed by resending my BTC from a good block.

I received the BTC in my wallet as confirmed. Thanks

Yes the pool is merge mining Doge.

We have recently resolved the issue of stuck rewards on Litecoin and Doge wallets. All Litecoin and Doge rewards are being pushed out now, so expect to see your coins in your wallets soon.

We are sorry for the delay in solving this issue.

Still mining in ghash.io in this times... isn't the best option, imho.

Other pools are paying a bit more

Like the cloudmining.... ghash fee per ghs is "high".

IMHO.

A bit high? I picked up gawminers they are very good. 0.01 cents per 5ghs. They upped my hashlets to 15ghs at no cost I had bought them at 9.96 per hashlet per 10ghs. Also I had picked up a blackwidow for $221 about 2 months ago with 1 month free hosting. I now have about $80 plus and then later got the option to convert to primes which I did and now they are worth $520. Its the best place to be in my opinion. And I love the double dip on there. Where your 1 hashlet can mine 2 different pools. 1 pool will be 24hour and the second one for 12 hours. Beat that for ROI....
