13Hrs and no block found.... This awful luck lately for such a big pool makes me a bit paranoid. I know there's been a lot of server problems lately. Are the hashing figures Ghash.io gives for the pool reliable?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

And now we've gone 6hrs already on the next one. This smells fishy.

Why is this shocking to anyone?

GHash went from having around 70PH/s down to below 50PH/s...

Most pool operators would say it's a significant difference.

They had once near 50% the network and now only 13%

The big fish have all gone... to Discus Fish because of its daily, hassle free payouts and well, every wants to be part of the winning team.

So the bozos who mined GHash religiously saw DF overtake GH and followed suit.

Get ready to see 24 hour blocks by the end of the year.

Well it shouldn't have %13 it should have %17,5 if 50PH was right. But lately it has only registered %8-%14 on https://blockchain.info/pools. When you have 1/6th of the network it shouldn't be this susceptible to luck. So I am asking if Ghash.io is really this statistically off its luck or if the pool has shrunk even more and someone is fingering the numbers?

F2pool has now 72 Phs and made in the last 48 hours 66 blocks

Ghash with 30% less hash power 50Phs made 27 blocks

so 66 minus 30% its 46.2 blocks

but its 27 just 27 blocks

we have 19 blocks difference do you call this just bad luck!!!

Maybe F2 has more than 72PHS and Ghash has less than 50PHS.

Also, statistically it's not that odd of an occurrence. Give me some statistics on 30day

Well, the payouts are as if Ghash.io has 50PH, ie. the users payouts are calculated as a percentage of 50PH. If they have less, ie. the users payouts should be calculated as a percentage of a substantially lower number and thus be a higher percentage of each block reward, then it means they are grabbing quite a lot of the payouts for themselves.

OK understood. You can also compare your payout for your GHS to the expected payout for current difficulty of 40007470271

Lol, you compare a scammer [which you are promoting] with a rip-off? Cool.

Does this really matter? Isn't this comparing apples and pears? Ghash pays PPLNS after finding a block, F2Pool pays per share no matter how many blocks they found.

For the last 24h the network has been finding less blocks than previous days so the payouts should be less than before.

How is the difficulty manually set in this pool. For when I'm entering my pool information in my miner's setup page.
