XC is going to have its super pump day soon enough like all these other coins are getting! I have been a follower from the start and have quite a large portion of my portfolio in XC. I'm hoping for a more steady rise though tbh.

It won't be a pump in that sense. It will be price discovery. There won't be a dump. People can't seriously go on much longer believing a much more secure and anonymous decentralised P2P platform is worth 10% of DRKs semi centralised coinjoin clone.

Im going to make a 1 BTC wedding gift to a friend of mine that is not into crypto. He is using a mac. Will the wallet.dat from windows work in a mac also? and where does he need to go for the roaming foalder on the mac?

i believe that XC will be 0,01 and higher, i wont sell until 0,01 , but i would like to see same rise, because im wathing XC price two weeks adn its stable..

don't get impatient, this coin is still flying under the radar. the name doesn't generate interest ( this is no critique on the name) in index sites or the announcment section and there is almost zero attention outside the Forum so far. But there will be and i think things will go fast from there at least for the first run up.

once this gets media attention there are very little attak vektors left that could hold back a price explosion. I hope i'm right here cause i'm far from an expert but i think XC will see some real crazy panic buying in the next weeks. That "i don't want to miss one dollar Bitcoin again " Panic.

I agree 100%, its hard to believe though as we did a 10,000 BTC volume 24 hour day!

But I dont think people are aware how far this coin has come, they are getting excited about some absolute turds and XC is not noticed....

Hey guys, why aare you so worried about price? When XC first came to light, it was the only coin after dark supporting the anon feature. whales discovered it, pumped it to death, many were going to hold, but then came the FUD day , so instead of price correcting, price dived.

Im new to crypto but I learn fast and I can see that much.

From now on, our team's promotion is as much important as dev's coding idd. The conference which will be attented is VITAL to coin's success. I expect pictures/video of the booth, and promote those to bitcoin sites/ news media like never before. I believe in our team, and I hope they do as suggested!

Has anyone done a comparison of all the new privacy style coins?
If not I think I might do one.
Maybe someone here can list the main features of XC and I'll ask others to do the same  of other coins.

I was thinking of this yesterday - someone needs to AUDIT all the new "anonymous cryptos" and put them all up for comparison.  I may do this.. but I am short on time so may take me awhile to do the write up.  

Also it would help if we had some videos to stir some attention... just shit to throw around on youtube and facebook and twiiter etc.. nothing fancy either.   Something like: "all black screen , you hear a million phone calls happening, and a few conversations all at once... then bammm.. complete silence for a few seconds and then .. zaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww XC logo and big flash, bang. " the end.

xnode unders windows, release 1.38

Wallet with address label : MIXER

550 XC in the wallet minimum (the one named MIXER, if you have more than one address) to run the xnode (actually 555 XC my side)

running directly x11coin-qt.exe

with this X11Coin.conf

So after looking into some details, I understood that we need to open tcp 32348 to listen from outside your lan. Just do it on your ISP router/firewall to allow redirection to your computer running xnode.

This works also with last release 1.5

Edit : you can also add there in the conf file, to disable irc for now and activate dnsseed

yeah .. the same kind of pannick buying dark coin saw abut 1-2 months ago.  up 2 dollars every day per coin, was nice.  The price is going lower now also because BTC going up and people dump to get back into BTC.  They will dump BTC and come back t XC with profits after btc bullrun
