XC represents several market-leading innovations, and we are honoured to make these available to the community in the near future.
I am sorry to breakdown the news to you but that is pure marketing manouver since anyone that follows XC from the start knows that it has no innovations but copied the model of other coins. - Anomymous transactions copied from the model of Fedoracoin TIPS and Darkcoin
- Xnodes (masternodes) copied from the model of Darkcoin
- Encrypted messages copied from the model of Cinnicoin
- Multipool copied from the model of Blackcoin
- Tor stick another marketing manouver copied from hyped coins with non functional tor transactions
So what is the real innovation of XC other than implementing features that other coin come up with? do u even know how inventions work ? gess not to explain this to u in general A invention is ALWASE part of other EARLIER inventions dark,s unanimous and black coins inventions ( the start of the inventions u claim they have where not made by those teams ) and u can trace it back way be-four crypto actually excised ) and invention is alwase a combination ( or addition ) added to other inventions if no one could use anyting that some one els already invented ( we would still be living in a cave ) ia apple did not invent the IPAD ( or tablet ) it just made the interface more easy to use that interface was also wen u brake it down in small parts NOT invented by apple ( just mushed together in the rough proportions ) same whit windows google youtube atomic bomb phone line electricity and so on to claim some one had the real first invention is inposible sins all ( so claimed ) inventions where modifications on other inventions ( or 2 inventions mushed to gether ) also drk en bc and all other coins stole someting from bitcoin ( IN YOUR OWN REDINATIONS THEY SHOULD BE BURNED ON THE STAKE !!!!! ARG THE STEALING )

Can anyone tell me more about the premine? I see that it is on the address: XS4QLi6VpQQo79HLkoFBj5YZkn6p6TuLKG and current balance is 76797.637446. It state that 1261026.235632 was received and 1184228.598186 was sent. How come that large volume? And where can I find a motivation for every transaction? I'm just quite afraid of large premines after being scammed before, and the value of this is currently 210 btc ~= $133,770. That is pretty much and can easily ruin the market if being dumped.
But it's...it's easy ... to, to talk about... It's easy to sum it up when you're just talking about premine. We're sitting in here, and XC supposed to be the industry-leading technology, and we in here talking about premine. I mean, listen, we're talking about premine, not the anonymous technology, we talking about premine. Not the technology. Not, not ... Not the technology that Dan spend endless day and nights building. Not the technology that is going to change the future but we're talking about premine, man. I mean, how silly is that? But we're talking about premine man. What are we talking about? premine? We're talking about premine, man. [laughter from the media crowd] We're talking about premine. We're talking about premine. We ain't talking about the technology. [more laughter] We're talking about premine, man. For how hard Dan has work on this project I don’t mind him premine 3 times more than what he did !!!!!!!! Lmao, even without the AI picture, I would have totally known you were going with the AI practice speech on this one... nicely done. ROTF!!! I needed this today...

You're not quite correct.
- XC is not a coin with added anonymity, it is a platform for privacy, decentralised exchange, decentralised storage, fully functioning (and staking) mobile wallets, and secure private messaging and chat.
- XC did not release its code early on. But Dan did make its code available for peer review to refute FUD that XC was a clone of Fedora.
- We will provide a development timeline around Rev 3 (i.e. very roughly in the next few weeks). Around this point we will state when we will be releasing portions of XC code.
- Once the code is mature and XC is successfully launched and adopted, the full code will be made available.
Thank you for the answer, I can estimate the "hour O" (open) now But XC's market model resembles very closely to NXT's one. It wonderful for mid-to-short term future, and has no chance to long-term one... Just IMHO.

[Fud removed] No other coin has multipath. The other big supernode coin has not managed to make supernodes work properly, i.e. without forking. No other coin has a supernode (i.e. coin-forwarding) implementation that both avoids semi-centralisation and uses multisig. No other coin has the same pace and reliability of development. End.

You couldn't be more wrong in my opion because it's a platform that is ever evolving with new products/tech, it's a long term project and I'm sure that I could find many more people that agree with myself rather than you. In fact I can tell you that there are investors of an oil firm invested in this currency for that particular reason.

What is "semi-centralisation" ?
Semi-centralisation refers to a scenario where a small number of nodes are used to forward transactions. See the OP for how this causes a "security bottleneck", as bitcoin core developer Gregory Maxwell states.

Hi all
Just to let you know that pratico has now sent me his first $500 donation for the paid Rev 2 press release!
You can confirm the payment here: 19G6JSgvGDHeeRwJDuZhpeXUMMiQP2X3oc
I then exchanged it for USD and sent it to the MasterCard that will pay for the release. The transfer fee was 3% and so the resulting amount in USD is $486.87.
I'll use driv3n's $100 donation to cover the outstanding amount (which is what I did for the previous press release). Thanks again Driv3n!
An enormous thanks to pratico for such a substantial contribution toward sending XC moonward.
Hurrah!
Remember that if the community donates a total of $500 for a paid release for Rev 2.5, then pratico will donate ANOTHER $500! We're not too far off the target. By all means, donate $20, or whatever you see fit, and let's put XC into the mainstream. Here's the idea: - buy XC
- have some money left over to donate to XC's PR
- watch the donation make your trade go to the moon

What is "semi-centralisation" ?
Semi-centralisation refers to a scenario where a small number of nodes are used to forward transactions. See the OP for how this causes a "security bottleneck", as bitcoin core developer Gregory Maxwell states. What's the number of nodes in XC now? Hard to say. Any wallet can function as an xnode. How many nodes are on the network? Anyone know how to figure this out? Whatever the number is, the proportion of xnodes to nodes will be high since Xnodes get transaction fees. There's a clear incentive there.

See the OP for how this causes a "security bottleneck", as bitcoin core developer Gregory Maxwell states. What's the number of nodes in XC now? every wallet with 550 coins can become a Xnode! we have 5.5m coins in circulation.. So possible 10k nodes max, but this will never be reached. Also the team stated the amount of coins needed can be reduced when it becomes to centralized and needs more diversity. This depends on the amount of users we will get in the future
