Correct. I ran the same calculation at Diff 50 and came up with 25.63. Divide that by the 420,000 Premine and we get 16,800 blocks X 2.5 minutes is 420,000 minutes which translates to 700 hours which also translates to 29 days. And let's face it, difficulty will more then likely be above 50. I know people think they need a Premine but let's make it a realistic number that doesn't scare the community away before we even mine. I like the idea behind this coin, but the dev has given us ZERO additional information which in itself is scary. I am sitting this one out but I hope the rest of you find success.

It was not instamined, you took a screen shot of the pool on a particularly low difficulty block which immediately shot up.  I soloed 3 blocks with 4 7950's before block 100 and that resulted in a grand total of a whopping 78 coins.  Everyone wants to bitch about scrypt ASICs, and then bitch someone has a massive GPU or FPGA farm on x11 or x13, and then the botnets getting all the CPU coins.  So god damn sorry you can't get rich off the 1 290x in your gaming rig.

We are not stealing anyone's hashes. If pool's statistics is showing something different than what your miner is showing it could be because statistics page is not updating instantly but on average you should get what your miner is showing.

The coins he wants to use for IPO are already mined from the first block.  Why do we need to stop mining?  If there is a fork to add a new feature that was left out, do we really need to start over?  I think that will not go well for the life of TorrentCoin.  You should help find a way to reward the people who gave you a shot and have been mining since launch..

My view was after seeing how the block progression went he was gonna sell of the pre-mine as maybe he came to the realization that it was too much. i was afraid somehting like this is going to happen.
it is a nice idea, finaly something new and unique, but unskilled dev made it crumble into a pile of dust.
hopefully he gets some proffessional help with coding and the project revives

sadly, this project was actualy quite interesting, and realy provided something different.
its a shame dev tends to be un-comunicative, thats just bad for both project, and the comunity that just started forming
